CityQuest is a way to become a party of a real-life detective in the middle of Stockholm. If you are planning on how to spend your spare time in Stockholm and discover the hidden gems of the city, this might be a great option for you!
CityQuest is a new type of entertainment in town that can be described as a mix of escape rooms, treasure hunt, and geocaching.

You and your team will be a detective agency for 2.5 hours. Your mission is to investigate a mysterious murder of the Russian scientist who came to visit Stockholm as a tourist. Did he happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time or was it all planned? At the beginning of the game you will get a set of evidence that will help you to navigate the city, find the clues, and solve the final mystery. You will also have access to a web application with the criminal journal of this case. The goal of the game is to answer as many questions as possible before the time runs out. You will start your investigation at Centralstation and finish it next to the Royal Opera. After the game is over you will be given a summary of what has happened to compare with your answers. Sounds exciting? Let’s play!

1.00We bought the ticket and showed up to the appointment spot. There was supposed to be a followup email with instructions - it never arrived. We tried the contact number on the confirmation email - it was disconnected. TripAdvisor and Viator tried to support by trying to contact them as well - still nothing. We lost 3 hours of my husband’s birthday trying to get someone to help us. When we finally did receive a response (late in the evening) they had the poor class to try and convince us to come back another time - felt like the my were more interested in avoiding giving a refund than in any form of genuine service or support.

5.00A perfect activity for the whole family (including dog)! Sure, it would have been even more fun if it hadn't rained the whole of our hike - but it worked well anyway. Great contact before: questions before booking and to meet up with Alex from Ardi and get away as well as during the time: when we got some worries we got lightning fast support (and the “problem” solved immediately). Professionally executed and fun to do!
Great way to spend an afternoon!

5.00We had a terrific time on our CityQuest Stockholm Syndrome part 1 adventure. Ardi was super responsive and everyone was really nice. The app was user friendly and had fun clues in it and the adventure as a whole was well planned. The story was engaging and led you around in a perfect amount of time and a manageable part of town. I would highly recommend these and can’t wait to come back for more!!!

2.00The quest was nice with development potential. Good setup with a fake fb and instagram page and recorded audio files. However, the story did not hold, the answers to the questions at the end were partly directly in the material. We were definitely not eager to book the continuation story! We also didn’t understand why we had to wait to get info material at the beginning on real paper. Especially since the messengers had forgotten the envelope and we had to wait 25 minutes ): And all participants just got the same link with identical info. you did not need to exchange any information, as it is in good escape events. No real Team Building. Felt unnecessarily expensive, you can easily share mobile between two players.

5.00I got the first quest from my friends for my birthday and it was super fun! Me and 4 friends did the quest "Se Stockholm och dö" in central Stockholm and it was a real detective mission. It reminds me of how to figure out together in an escaperoom but here you get the opportunity to do it outdoors and with a little luck in nice weather :) I recommend Googling to solve certain puzzles because it is tricky and exciting. It would have been sad if it was way too easy but it was good level of the whole game. I look forward to running the sequel on occasion!

5.00Took part in this quest together with friends. I am kind of fan of all sorts of quests and escape rooms and alike, really like this type of activities. And this very game was exactly on that level when your brains need to work hard, but not melt and pour out through your ears because of too specific logic of game makers. Lagom, as the Swedish people would say. The game does not require deep knowledge about Stockholm which I would consider a plus — a tourist can enjoy it as much, as any resident will. Yet it makes you move and use your eyes, so you are going to notice something that you may have never noticed in everyday life. I like how the game makers used social networks for this game. What I missed a bit is, probably, finding some “real evidences” in real life. Like find a bag, open it, decipher a paper and so on. But it would require extra job for creaters, hence would cost more. But would be nice to have. Are you reading me, guys? :) if yes, consider my idea and send me a virtual hug if you implement it 😊 I can’t but mention a plot. This game has a plot, it’s not just a chain of tasks like “take a pic of that monument with your teammates”. The plot is quite good, and the scenario of the game is developing around it. Good to know that after part one you can play another part. We are already choosing the date. No pics, sorry-were too busy 🙃

5.00Cool experience during COVID-19! I like to participate in quests and this one was my first experience of such a quest in the city. You need only your smartphone! Along with an interesting storyline, you had to navigate the beautiful streets of the city and look at some of the sights from a new perspective. It was really interesting and exciting to complete the quest. Highly recommend!

5.00Had a very nice evening on the town with some friends when we got around and played. Fun way to experience Stockholm and even though I have lived here for a long time, I discovered some new details. I’m often in the part of town where the end of the mission took place and always think about when we drove :)
