The Cliffs of Moher are sea cliffs located at the southwestern edge of the Burren region in County Clare, Ireland. They run for about 14 kilometres, and are 700 feet in height. Along the way you will see lots of Castles and an Abbey along with a prehistoric Dolmin at Poulnabrone.

You will be guided by our professional driver who has lived and worked in the area all his life.

Dunguaire Castle's

Dunguaire Castle and its history lies at the heart of Ireland’s literary revival in the early 20th century. It was built in 1520 by the O’Hynes clan on the picturesque shores of Galway Bay. This restored 16th century tower house sits on a rocky outcrop on the shores of Galway Bay. In 1924 Dunguaire was bought and repaired by Oliver St. John Gogarty, the famous surgeon and literary figure. This was the time of the great Celtic revival in Irish literature exemplified by the works of writers such as Synge, Yeats Shaw and O'Casey. It became the venue for meetings of the literary revivalists such as W.B. Yeats, his patron Lady Gregory, George Bernard Shaw, Edward Martin and J.M. Synge. Admission is €7.50

My wife, sister-in-law and I enjoyed a great windy, rainy day tour with JD Chauffeurs and Jarlath Burke. A beautiful car with an exceptionally safe driver. He went well above and beyond to show us a full days worth of Ireland. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We had a wonderful experience with JD Chauffeurs and Jarlath Burke. Our family of four toured the West coast of Ireland with Jarlath for four days and everything was perfect. He was prompt, reliable, knowledgeable and drove safely. We couldn't have done it without him!

Great driver, countryside views with lots of explanations from the driver, tremor. Felt like we really got a feel for the Ireland way of life and its people. Comfortable car and safe driving. Castles and pubs with Cliffs of Moher as the highlight! Burren was beautiful and walking through it was a wonderful experience. Good conversation! I recommend this tour and driver!

My sister and I booked this tour to see the Cliffs of Moher for the first time. Our guide Jarlath took us to several beautiful places along the way. The views were so beautiful, and the Cliffs of Moher even more amazing than expected. Jarlath was a great driver, engaging, and super knowledgable about the history of the area. We had a great day, took lots of photos and learned a lot in the process!

My husband and I spent the day with Jarlath visiting the Burren and the Cliffs of Moher. Jarlath was communicative, friendly, witty, and excellent company; he also possessed - and shared - a deep knowledge of the area and its history. In addition to our scheduled stops for a hike at the Burren and to visit the Cliffs of Moher, he showed us innumerable Norman-era castles, Lahinch, Corcomroe Abbey, and Kilfenora Cathedral and its high crosses. We ended the day with a chocolate tasting at Hazel Mountain, which was different type of treat. Throughout, Jarlath was a safe driver and we were comfortable and happy. We would absolutely book with him on our next visit to Ireland and wholeheartedly recommend.
