- Upon arrival, receive a brief orientation. - Hike along a well-marked trail. You will get the chance to see different animals and plants and lots of exotic birds. - Go on inner tubes down the South Stann Creek River. - Go on a quick hike to an amazing waterfall for a swim and enjoy a natural water slide along with a packed lunch. - Hike back to the vehicles.

What a fun time even in the rain!

5.00Edgar was such an amazing tour guide. He is so knowledgeable and shared so much information about both the native plants and animals. He did his very best to make sure that we saw everything that we wanted to see. I never did see any howler monkeys, but he pointed out their calls. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day, so they were hiding in the tree tops, but he made sure that we saw toucans and that made my day! You have to carry your tube so be prepared for that. In our case it helped keep us dry, that is until it poured down rain while we were floating down the river. Edgar tried to keep us dry under some trees, but we eventually just gave in and floated in the rain. It eventually stopped raining and we enjoyed the hike to the waterfall while drying off.

5.00Our family just returned from a trip to Belize which included two tours provided by Untame Belize: Cockscomb Wildlife Sanctuary and Xunantunich/Cave Tubing. Both tours were led by Edgar who did a fantastic job! He was informative, enthusiastic and shared his passion for the area, local food and the specific touring sites in a manner that made our interesting and insightful trips even more enjoyable! We would highly recommend Untame and, specifically, Edgar!!

4.00This tour had the ideal length of time! We had the choice to first walk to ben’s bluff (for the view) and then take the refreshing swim at the waterfall. The guide was very helpful to find me a tamanduo, but we had no luck :( Then the tubing is just so much fun and relaxing at the same time! One little thing: although the plan was explained online, I wish they told us the schedule of the day at the beginning of the day, but we had to ask them all the time and what stuff to bring everytime

5.00The tours in Belize are great but the tour guide really helps set them apart. Here i will describe the tour and then how the tour guide was. Overall, we would recommend this as an easy day for adventurous people or families with small kids. The tour consisted of lunch, transportation (we were on the placencia penisula) and the fees. The tour was relaxing as you had a short, not very intense hike to the water and got to tube in the river. The waterfall was beautiful and you were able to swim around. The tubing and water experience was easy and allowed you to really soak in nature. Now for our tour guide, we had Edgar and its hard to BELIZE it but he was energetic, cheerful and accommodating even though I had food poisoning. He supported my partner in pointing out all of the birds and was dynamic to our needs as I had food poisoning from the night before. He got us lunch, pointed out history and really worked to make it as good as possible

5.00What an incredible day we had exploring Cockscomb Wildlife Preserve with Edgar!! Edgar picked us up right in time from our meeting point in Hopkins Village. From there, we took a short drive to the preserve while the energetic and informative Edgar provided us with all sorts of cultural and regional background. We decided to hike before tubing because the morning was quite cool. Best decision ever! The trail was not crowded at all, and we were able to view a plethora of wildlife. After a dip in a beautiful waterfall pool, we grabbed our tubes and headed toward the river. What an amazing experience! So relaxing floating through the beauty of the jungle! After our adventures, we stopped for a Mayan lunch. I must say, that after a week of dining out in Hopkins, this was the most delicious meal we had our entire trip!! We even had leftovers for dinner that night! Thank you thank you to Edgar for showing us such a great time! These memories will last a lifetime!!

5.00We had a great day with Edgar! He was such a knowledgeable and personable guide. He was very flexible when it came to what we wanted to do within Cockscomb. Really terrific guy. We had a great meal at the end of the trip and it was tough to say goodbye to Edgar at the end.

5.00We had a great day with Edgar. The wildlife was pretty scarce, but we did see a red brocket deer, a king vulture, and some turtles. Edgar is extremely knowledgable and told us a lot about the flora and fauna of the preserve throughout the tour. The hike to the tubing was very easy, and we had a very nice float down the river. The hike to the waterfall did include a fairly steep hill up and down the other side, but it was a relatively short part of the hike and the waterfall was well worth the effort.

5.00What a beautiful day!! Our driver Hes was wonderful, he brought us to a great local spot for lunch on the way back from the excursion. William was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and friendly and helpful! The tubing and waterfalls were amazing. Be prepared to hike! It was a beautiful day. 10 out 10 I would do it again

Our guide, Edgar, was fantastic – so knowledgeable about the area, its wildlife, and the culture. From river tubing, waterfall swims and nature tail hikes exploring with Untame Belize was exciting way to take in Belize’s natural beauty. Everything was seamless from start to finish. Our first point of contact was Hamerlin, who was such a pleasure to communicate with – he answered all our questions ahead of time and made the booking process so easy.
