The best cooking class I had! From the very nice market visit to the extraordinary cooking. I felt really like I am visiting a family in Sri Lanka and are able to join their day! The food and hospitality is nothing short then amazing! The village is soo pretty and peaceful. I felt like I got the grandma I didn’t know I needed! I really recommend it!

Fantastic experience at this cooking class. Learned so much about Sri Lankan cuisine and we got to make 5 different curries and additional sides. It started with a really interesting tour of the local markets where we got to sample different Sri Lankan fruits before heading to the house and learning to cook. After dinner, we were treated to homemade desserts. Couldn't ask for more. Amazing experience.

Amazing experience. They met us at the markets. We bought the food then went back to their beautiful home to cook the lunch. A beautiful experience. We have had many highlights on our trip this certainly is one of them. Oh and absolutely gorgeous food!

It was a wonderful experience! Everyone should experience it. Everyone was so kind and helpful. From the very first moment, I knew it would be great fun. The visit to the market was very interesting. The cooking was fantastic. The food was delicious. We will remember this experience for a long time.

Great morning with Sudesh and his family enjoying a wonderful cooking class experience. Starting with a trip to the market in Kandy to buy the ingredients, Sudesh was very engaging, informative and good company. He showed us all kinds of fruits which we tasted, and the ingredients for our cooking class were bought. Then a drive up into the hilltop to their house. It’s simply beautiful and the cooking class in an open sided kitchen feels like you’re in the forest. Sudesh’s Mum is the cook and teacher and she is lovely. 5 or 6 curries cooked with explanation all the time. The food was delicious too! Can highly recommend this cooking class. The location certainly adds to it. Thanks for a great morning Chris & family

Just a fantastic half day learning to cook Sri Lankan food. Booked last minute- day of - for 12 people, all family and friends aged 6-75. Rhey set up an incredible experience for us including tuk tuk rides down to the villiage house since we had a larger van that couldn’t go on small roads. We all learned a ton even though half of us were of Sri Lankan descent and cook some of these dishes often. Super engaging for all ages as well. Great value for price. Would recommend to almost anyone with a half day of time in Kandy to spend on a cultural activity

The cooking class was an absolute amazing experience during my stay in Sri Lanka. Everybody was so kind and I learned so much about traditional dishes and all the ingredients. It was a great and privat atmosphere in the backyard. And the food was just delicious. Also visited the local market before cooking, which was so interesting to see. 10/10, would recommend it to everyone. Also looking forward to recreate some dishes at home with the recipes we received afterwards. Thanks a lot

Cooking class with a sweet granny quite good, better than eating at a buffet by about 2x 3x but nothing super mega crazy…………………..
