Amazing first dive!

5.00We had a great experience. My wife was certifed years ago and I am not a certified diver. I had snorkeled for years. Leo our instructor and safety diver gave us a great lesson on how to use all the equipment, it was the perfect amount of info. We felt comfortable but not overwhelmed. We dove for about 45 minutes. Saw lots of sealife and some cool statues. It was an amazing experience. Felt very comfortable in the water with Leo checking on us alot. Would highly recommend MJs dive service. We enjoyed the beach afterwards, had some food and bought some Tequila. Great easy excursion we book ourselves when visiting Cozumel on our cruise. Will definitely be back.

5.00WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! This was my first time doing this and I cannot wait to come back. Leo (instructor) and Jose (photographer) were incredible and I am so happy I did this. Knowledgeable, patient, and extremely friendly.

5.00Leo was our guide, he was amazing! From the moment we arrived to the park, everyone was so friendly. Leo explained everything to us so clearly and patiently. The staff worked with us to make a memorable scuba dive. I will be doing this again the next time we come to cozumel!

5.00What an amazing experience my partner and I had on this excursion. I have been to Chankanaab to snorkel but this was my first time scuba diving and i already can’t wait to go back. Lucky enough, it was only my partner and I for our tour so it felt super intimate. We pre booked on Viator and then paid the $11 marina fee on arrival. We were then given a short instruction class by Leo who very easily explained the main rules while scuba diving. He then took us out to get used to the gear and off we went. Using the scuba gear was really easy and Leo was constantly checking on us. We got to see lobsters, yellow sting rays, conch, many fish and even a NURSE SHARK!! We also got to into an underwater cave! We were followed by another diver who took amazing pics and videos of us but forgive me I cannot remember his name (I think Miguel or Jose) Overall this was such an amazing experience and I can’t wait to come back!
