  We had a fun time and overall good experience with the company and the tour. We are staying on island and drove to the marina. We had some issues figuring out where to self park. There is a parking lot in the right side of the Marina. The company was responsive to my call and text regarding this issue. Also the tour name in the storefront sign is May-be tours. There were about 20 on the tour. And we fit comfortably on the boat. Columbia and palace reefs were nice to see. The snorkeling was not spectacular but I think that depends on the day. And to be fair we snorkel a lot. We saw plenty of colorful fish and coral and a few stingrays. The starfish spot was really nice. I have never seen starfish that big. El Cielo was beautiful and fun. The fruit and drinks were delicious and there was a great vibe having drinks and snacks on a sandbar in the middle of the ocean. We saw a lot of stingrays there. They swim by pretty close. The boat ride back is about 45 minutes. Could be on the long side if you have to use the restroom. Also you will get wet in the boat. They have an area where they put you items that need to stay dry. Snorkel equipment was in good shape. You must wear a flotation device. It’s wise as the current can be swift and there are boats everywhere. Flippers are not provided. Overall great trip. And I felt the price was right.

  Beautiful day with Cesar guide Well organized team! The place was well chosen for observing marine wildlife. I've seen the rays and some kind of poison ready, but, Unfortunately I couldn't see the torture that day! The weather didn't help us.

  Well-organized tour with a small group. Saw turtles, rays and starfish. The highlight was the ceviche and frosty beverages at El Cieloto.

  The experience was wonderful. Though the building signage was difficult to see with multiple business names for the office space. We arrived as soon as we were able to disembark from our cruise, which was a short time after our excursion was supposed to start. They still got us on a boat to snorkel and see the reef, the starfish, and the stingrays. I would gladly book this excursion again.

  The start of our snorkeling adventure was unorganized. After I paid I got a confirmation email and was told to meet at the disclosed location 15 minutes prior to our selected start time. About 1 hour before the tour started I got a text telling me the meeting location had changed to a new spot that I could not get to by walking and had to pay a taxi $300pesos to get us there. Upon getting to the marina the taxi driver told us we both owed the guy at the gate another $20pesos each to let us inside. We were dropped off inside at a building with no markings and no people other than the guy who was guarding the bathroom that wanted $20pesos to let my girlfriend use the facility. At this point we were super confused and she was starting to get both scared and irritated at me for talking her into this adventure. I had some back and forth communication with the person who texted me to meet at this location and they instructed me to look for "the guy with a blue shirt, a beard and sunglasses" the second guy i found to match this description ended up being our guy. Upon meeting him we were told we each had to pay $11 dollars cash USD for a "environmental" fee and then he would take us to the boat. We reluctantly did because what else are we supposed to do at this point, but my girlfriend is giving me the stink eye and I can tell shes getting pissed. Honestly at this point I kinda figured I had just gotten us both involved in some kind of scam and wasnt sure what was going to happen next. I still felt safe because it was light out and there were people around, but I wasn't sure we would ever get to go snorkeling. After "our guy" talked to several people in Espanol to get directions he got us to the spot where we were to connect with our snorkeling guide. This small boat showed up about 1/2 hour late with another group and they all got out so we could get in. The boat was small and not very impressive, but i wasn't very concerned about that. It was definitely sea worthy despite it's initial appearance. We met our crew, loaded in and set out. On our way out, we were outpaced by every other boat heading to these same reefs, but we eventually got there. Our crew was nice and we were excited. We were introduced to Jose, the "professional" photographer who would be joining us with his little GoPro camera and taking some pictures for the website. The Captain of our little boat just drove and Phillipe gave us some instruction on what to do once we got to the first reef. The snorkeling was actually quite amazing! The reefs were a little crowded with other groups, but they were absolutely beautiful. We stuck close to Phillipe as instructed and Jose swam around and snapped photos of everyone. We went to the second reef and the last stop was a sand bar with star fish and sea rays swimming all around. Our lunch was fruit, guacamole and chiveche. It was all very fresh and quite delicious! We were in water that was waist deep and eating this buffet off a paddle board as the sea rays swam our our feet. It was a pretty amazing experience and our entire crew was friendly. Jose captured photos of it all. On our way back to the harbor Jose showed us all the pictures he took and his sales pitch began. My girlfriend was impressed with some of them and really wanted to have some documentation of of both being on this adventure together so I reluctantly agreed to the $50 dollar USD package which included all the photos he had taken that day of us. He used a conversion rate that was quite favorable for him when he did his math and when I pointed out that this was not $50 dollars it was $61 dollars USD he said it was the rate his "boss" makes him use for transactions. Again, what are you going to do? Make a stink about this in front of my girlfriend or just let him know you're on to his tactics, smile and let him get away with it. Needless to say, my girlfriend got her pictures,lol. Once Jose was done selling pictures Phillipe directed us to tip the captain so we threw down the very last $20 dollars cash we had. They dropped us off at our resort which was nice of them so we didnt have to pay a taxi to get back. All in all we did have a pretty amazing experience in the water! The guys were great! My girlfriend got her documentaion and i ended up getting to be the aqesome boyfriend. It was very unorganized at the start, but it ended well. It also cost more than double what they initially advertised on this website which was really irritating. I dont like to barter, it just makes me feel uncomfortable:/ I'm the kind of guy who just wants honest upfront pricing which this excursion definitely did not include. I'd say if this group of guys got a little more organized on the beginning of the trip, bought a little nicer boat and were upfront on what the actual cost would be they might have a great package. They were really good at what they all did! The bait and switch tactics however, took away from that and thats why I only gave them 3 stars.

  A wonderful experience!! Went to multiple places and saw so much! Omar was our guide and he was delightful. Ended up grouping up with two other solo women and we all had such a blast! The ceviche at the end when you're with the mantas was a perfect end to the tour. Absolutely would book again. I took the ferry from playa and a cab to the meet up location, it was very easy to find and the company communicated well with us. Saw an eagle ray and two little sharks!!

  The overall tour was good. The tour guide and boat driver were excellent. The downside was the vague instructions for the pickup spot and the bathrooms there were horrific, no seats or toilet tissue plus you have to pay to use them.

  This was a terrible experience to call it a sh*t show would be an understatement. First they sent use to the wrong address we had to walk about a mile to the actual start point. Once we got there arrived there was not meeting point and no one to meet us. Couldn’t easily get anyone on the phone. Boat was very late to arrive at the dock. This was a snorkel trip but they had NO Finns for us to use. The leader had fins and keep barking at use to stay with him. The only good thing was the food at the last the last site. Don’t go on this trip and shame on TripAdvisor.com for even offering it.

  That the meeting place/port of the activity is a 10-15 minute cab ride from the Playa Del Carmen ferry port.
