Only here for the day? Not to worry, dive trips are available to our cruise ship guests. This tour includes pickup and drop off directly from the cruise port, transport to beautiful West Bay beach and two boat dives with the best Dive Operator on West Bay with the newest equipment, newest boats and most experienced instructors. For over 10 years West Bay Divers has been offering premium, small group full concierge service from the number one location on the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest in the world! West Bay is a scenic drive from Roatan’s cruise ship terminal. If you just want to relax on the beach with a drink in your hand, West Bay is by far the best beach on Roatan, known for its white sand, clear water and bars right on the beach. For certified divers we have scheduled fun dives at 09:00 am (2-tank dive). There is usually plenty of time for two dives during your stay on Roatan. Dives are guided by one of our instructors and we have dive sites for all experience levels: walls, wrecks, drift dives and shallow sites as well. Most marine life is viewed between 30 and 60 ft.

5.00It was an amazing dive trip. There were only 2 of us with the guide. Much better than the crowded excursion thru cruise. It was a short walk to pickup spot and they were there waiting for us. Nico was wonderful and helped my sister who has a little trouble equalizing. Hannah took some great pics! Murray's Place dive site was awesome.

5.00Outstanding two-dive excursion with West Bay Divers. Kian was my divemaster and was absolutely phenomenal, professional, attentive, and clearly passionate about what he does. Hannah, the photographer, was equally amazing and incredibly attentive throughout the dives. The entire experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. I cannot wait to dive with them again.

5.00The service of this group was fantastic! They took care of every detail and we literally just had to show up and do the dive. They did all the leg work to carry tanks, prepare equipment, etc We simply had to suit up and dive. Takeshi was our dive guide and he was excellent! He took great care of our crew and showed us all of the wildlife along the way. I would gladly dive with him anytime, anywhere! Would gladly return to this dive shop again. Very professional!

5.00Celebrated 33 years of diving in Roatan last week. Our dive master~ Takeshi ~ was brilliant, and knew all the hottest dive spots !!! He spoiled us and took care of our gear so we didn't have to bring back and forth from our AirBnB each day. West Bay Divers ~ IS THE PLACE ~ to dive while on island here !!! Mary & Barney in the front office made scheduling our dives easy & efficient. One of the best things about West Bay Divers is the multiple dive discount.... the more we dove, the more discounts we got. Definitely coming back here in a couple of months !!!!!🐬✨️

5.00Had a great experience with my nephew through West Bay Divers. From the Carnival cruise ship they picked us up just outside the port area of Mahogany Bay and got us out diving for two dives and back by 2:00pm. Takeshi was a great dive guide and very accommodating for my newbie nephew. Saw amazing things and felt safe the whole time. The road down to the dive shop by the beach is not paved but thats about as sketch as it got. I booked a week in advance and they were willing to take out a newbie who has open water cert no problem.

Chiara was an outstanding dive instructor. Her calm attitude, professionalism, and clear explanations made every dive feel safe, relaxed, and enjoyable. 5.00West Bay Divers was great! Extremely professional and helpful. One of the best diving experiences I’ve had as far as the customer service goes. The dive shop was awesome, the dive master Mekela was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and made us feel safe and taken care of. It was a completely white-glove experience - they lent us all of our equipment (except we brought mask and wet suit by choice (my husband and I) and our friend used their wet suit, which was brand new), they set up all the equipment for us and brought it to the boat, they provided transportation and water and watermelon, showers with warm water and soap (!!) at the dive shop for after. I will say it was one of the more expensive dive trips we have done, but you get what you pay for - it was totally worth it. And it was also awesome that the walk from the dive shop to the beach/boat was short and pleasant, and the drive in the boat from the beach to the dive site was literally 2 minutes. The water was clear (even though it was a bad visibility day for them due to recent rain!) and the sea life was plentiful. Mekela made sure all rules and safety guidelines were followed, kept us safe, showed us neat sea life, answered all of our questions about the sea life, and ultimately gave us a great experience. Also, we were late getting to the meeting spot at the port because the cruise ship totally messed up and was extremely late parking and getting the tender boats ready to take the passengers to shore - we were so worried we would completely miss our diving excursion, but West Bay Divers was in top of it! They are so experienced with this that they could tell we were going to be late by the way the ship was parked (or not parked) by the morning of the excursion. They knew we were tendering and they knew that causes delays. They waited for us and made sure we were still able to do our excursion! It was just our party (the three of us - me, husband, friend) in the transportation vehicle and on the dive boat (plus dive master and captain who drove). They also went to great lengths (using their experience and knowledge) to ensure we made it back to the cruise ship on time because we had an early departure cutoff time (3:30 PM). Everyone at the dive shop was extremely friendly and helpful! Our driver to and from the port was wonderful. I forgot his name now - Andy? Something like that! Sorry! But we were so grateful for him and his driving and the conversation during the drive! Thank you, West Bay Divers, for a wonderful experience on 12/17/2025!!!

5.00We had a great time! If you make sure to book a cruise exclusive dive, they’ll wait for you if your ship arrives late, which we really appreciated. They’re very used to working around cruise ship schedules. Tekashi was an awesome and enthusiastic dive guide!
