Cu Chi Tunnels
We depart Ho Chi Chi Minh City in the morning to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, known for its role in the anti-American resistance during the Vietnam War and now seen as a symbol of heroism. With over 220 km of underground tunnels, it's a popular tourist attraction for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors. The scenic route from Ho Chi Minh City to Cu Chi passes through the local countryside, offering sights such as ducks and buffalo along the river. Despite its tranquil appearance today, it's hard to imagine the destruction caused by bombing and mines in the past, when Cu Chi was designated as a "free target zone."
My Tho
After investigating the tunnels, we'll head to My Tho, a province in the Mekong Delta region. We'll embark on a boat ride along the upper Mekong and witness the Four Animal Islands named after creatures in Buddhist lore: Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix, and Turtle. On this portion of the tour, you'll get a glimpse of local Vietnamese life and how it is tied to the river. Later, we'll take you on a rowboat excursion through the narrow waterways, showcasing the fertile agriculture of the delta with its fruit orchards, coconut plantations, and beekeeping farms. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to taste honey tea, seasonal fruits, fresh coconut candy, and enjoy southern Vietnamese folk music. Finally, we'll return to Ho Chi Minh City and drop you off at your hotel around 6:30 PM.

5.00Tu was an amazing Guide. With him we learnt a great deal of History surrounding the war and the Tunnels and he shared many personal story’s with us which made the tour feel as though we were traveling around with a good friend. He was very friendly and made us feel right at home. He keeped us well informed on what exactly was happening with the tour and when we would be doing such. Thank you Tu for your smiles, laughs and great company, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else to show us such a significant part of Vietnamese history and everything in between. The food was delicious too and we tried many new drinks and local craft eats!

5.00This is a wonderful experience but it is a very long day. Even with normal traffic you are about 11 hours. That being said, the tunnels are very educational but 2.5 hours outside the city. Next, we were 2 hour drive to the Mekong River. We also had a nice Cultural experience with several local communities on an island in the Mekong River. I would recommend this tour but be prepared for a long day. Our guide Emily was excellent!!

5.00This was a really good day out. Our guide Matthew was the highlight. He taught us so much about the history of Vietnam and the life of farmers on the land. Matthew really should be a history professor - we were very impressed. Would recommend this tour.

5.00The tour was good, we got to try walking through tunnels, learnt the history of the Cu Chi area and had some yummy food before driving to the Mekong where we tried coconut candy, fresh fruit and honey. This tour takes you out of the city for a full day but packs in all the “must see” spots for out of town while in Saigon. Our guide, Tu was great! He was funny, knowledgeable and friendly. He had good English and I would reccomend him to friends.
The only tour you need to book.

5.00Tu was a great tour guide. I learned a lot about Vietnam's history and culture. He shared some really interesting stories. The pace of the tour was great, we didn't linger too long in one spot but didn't feel rushed either. I would highly recommend this tour for someone who wants a great mix of history, art, local spots and food.

2.00Be aware that if you book a VIP Max 6 person they will add an extra person on and you will be cramped up on the back seat touching knees with fellow travellers
