Cu Chi Tunnels

Tour stars approximately at 7:45AM to 6:40PM - This VIP Day Tour from Ho Chi Minh City with Transfers by Limousine allows you to experience the history, culture, and natural beauty of Southern Vietnam in just one day. Around 7:45am, get picked up from your hotel in center of Ho Chi Minh City and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances through the tunnels, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. You can also try your hand at shooting some of the old rifles used during the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available)

My Tho

After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms lining both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle. Stop by at the bee house to watch locals perform traditional music while savoring fresh tropical fruits and honey tea. We'll wrap up our day tour and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon, where we'll drop you off at your hotel around 6:50pm. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

The trip was wonderful. We were picked up in a nice limousine and headed to CuChi tunnels after a quick stop at an art gallery run by disabled people. At CuChi we explored the forest, crept through the small tunnels and fired AK-47s we then head nice set lunch and headed to Mekong delta. There we took boat ride, followed by a ride in Lamborghini and another small boat, some tea and dance with the villagers. We were then dropped to the origin. The entire trip was enjoyable and our tour manager BO HAN was excellent!

A superb tour. We had the very good fortune to have Hoàng Duy (aka James) as our guide. If there is a better tour leader in Saigon we would like to meet them. From 7am until 7pm he worked his socks off to ensure we had a great experience, with an excellent balance of humour and providing lots of historical information. As to the tour, sitting for 6 hours out of 12 in a minibus is a lot, but it was very well organised and all of the constituent parts were joined seamlessly. The tunnels experience is necessarily touristy but gave very interesting insights into the American War and the tools and strategies that the Vietnamese used. The short boat rides on the Mekong Delta were fun. Excellent quality and value tour. Thank you!

The trip to the Cu Chi tunnels was worth visiting… very much the high light of the day. The afternoon’s trips to several retail places with an overkill… it made the day very long and tiring as a trip.
