5.00I am a native French speaker and my family is from the Rhône Valley yet my husband and I learned so much on this tour. We « trabouled » from neighborhood streets to the river and back again while our guide Eillin shared her extensive knowledge about the History, Culture and Gastronomy of Lyon. The visit of the St. Jean District was one of the highlights of our holiday stay! Thank you Eillin for sharing the passion you have for your beautiful city. We will be back and hope to visit another part of Lyon with you soon!

5.00With a small group of friends, we booked the services of Eillin for half a day. Eillin is very professional, fun and most importantly a very knowledgeable culinary and touristic guide. Her deep knowledge of the history and architecture of Lyon is beyond belief. Thanks to her recommendations we were lucky enough to experience a typical Lyon breakfast called “le machon” in a nice Bouchon Lyonnais. After a couple of hours walking through the most beautiful cobbled streets and unexpected “traboules” passage ways, we ended the tour at the iconic food hall “les Halles” and shared well deserved typical Lyon snacks and drinks with locals. We discovered the beauties of Lyon in a different light thanks to Eillin. Highly recommended.

5.00My husband and I had a wonderful 2 hour tour of historical Lyon with Eillin. She asked us what we were interested in seeing and zoomed right in. The history of the silk workers, the traboules and the city’s evolution with gastronomy were all brought to life with engaging information. Bravo, Eillin!

1.00I got there and I could not find anyone. I got up very early paid an Uber to take me there when I get there not 1 person was there. I would like money back very dissatisfied and disappointed.

5.00We highly recommend Eillin's Cultural Walking Tour of Vieux Lyon! In researching which tour to take, we were highly suspicious of the tours that cost only 6 Euros, imagining that they would have a huge number of participants and potentially not be very serious. We found what we were looking for in Eillin's tour. She is passionate about her city, where she has lived for over 19 years. Eillin is an excellent communicator; she is very knowledgeable about many areas, including architecture, film, gastronomy, the silk industry, history, economics, and more. Eillin answered all of our questions about Lyon. We learned so much and enjoyed the tour so much because it was a small group. Eillin shared with us many gems that a big group could not visit. Due to Eillin's extremely engaging tour, we hope to go back and spend time in this wonderful city since there is so much we would love to explore. Also, if we do return to Vieux Lyon, we would definitely sign up for Eillin's Food Tour. This tour was our favorite part of our visit to Lyon—-and there were many highlights!
