Come and explore with me on foot Soho to visit…. Where In 1964 Davy Jones played his first professional gig with the King Bees. Where in 1967 he lived with choreographer and mime performer Lindsay Kemp. Where in 1969 Bowie performed “Space Oddity” live in front of her Royal Highness Princes Margret. Where in the 1970’s he recorded Hunky Dory and The rise and fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars Where in 1973 Bowie performed his last ever show as Ziggy Stardust “the 1980 floor show” for the American NBC TV late night show “The Midnight Special”. Where in the 1960’s Bowie, Bolan, Hendrix and Elton John used to breakfast together and plot their music careers. All these places and many more will be shared with you on the day. Had an excellent Bowie tour with a knowledgeable and well-read guide told about different Bowie stories although other rockstars from different rock eras wandering through soho visited different places in bowies history Mr Grant a very well-read and nice guy

We had a great, entertaining and very informative tour of the hotspots that brought us closer to David Bowie. Our tour guide Grant was just fantastic 🤩 He had an in-depth knowledge of this exceptional artist and conveyed that very well. It's obvious that he's a huge fan. You could understand him very well, he responded well to the individual participants and it was just fun to walk with him through Brixton and Soho. For every Bowie fan (or even non-fans/music lovers) absolutely RECOMMENDED!!! Always happy 💜

Myself and friends treated another friend to this tour for a birthday present. It was the birthday girl who is a lifelong Bowie fan and the rest of us weren't sure what to expect. What a great afternoon we all had! The tour is well planned out but it is Grant who makes it. He is warm, engaging and such a mine of information about Bowie and the music scene generally over the eras. The birthday girl says: 'Grant was great, very passionate about Bowie which I loved. And very knowledgeable. I felt he really appreciated my enthusiasm for Bowie. It was very generous of him to forward on so many links afterwards. Will strongly recommend to other Bowie fans. A memorable day for me very special.' We all felt it was an excellent tour and great value for money. Highly recommend. Thanks Grant!

Our tour guide Grant was incredibly knowledgeable about David Bowie in every way. He was also very personable and accommodating. His knowledge of all types of music was also very impressive. Could not recommend his tour more highly.

Fabulous time reminiscing about David Bowie, seeing important locations in his life. It was a joy to be in the company of Grant, the guide. There is a walk around Brixton and then you take the underground to Soho. Highly recommended .

There were only 2 of us and it was like a private lesson. Grant was very informative. He’s like an encyclopedia of knowledge about music in general and David Bowie in particular. A must for any Bowie fan.

We had booked our David Bowie Walking tour in good time. It turned out that on the 28/7 day we were the only ones who had registered for our trip. It was a fantastic experience primarily because of our English guide Grant Gutteridge. Grant was very, very friendly and welcoming and had a very great knowledge of David Bowie, which he conveyed in a wonderful way. He spent more than 3 hours with us that afternoon and it became an unforgettable experience for both of us. After the trip, Grant was so kind to send us everything he had told us so we could better remember it. He also came with recommendations for what we could see in London before our trip home. It meant that we also got to see the fantastic neighborhood Shoreditch. We would like to give a great recommendation from Grant Gutteridge and say thank you for a great experience.

Amazing tour. My teen daughter is the Bowie fan and this tour was more than I thought. I am beyond happy I found this for her, as I never got into David Bowie. But I really enjoyed this myself! It’s not just visiting places, it is so much enthusiasm and facts, and fun!! Grant is really really knowledgeable and down to earth! I highly recommend this tour! I wish I can find something similar for my favorite artists!

My wife and I met Grant in Brixton and spent the next few hours touring around Brixton, looking at David’s early years, and then Soho touring round lots of venues and places of interest They’re were many photo opportunities! Grant had a lot of stories and tales about the stops - most of which I’ll use as my own now! I saw a load of things in Soho I’d never seen before and received a couple of really great playlists to listen to afterwards Really was an excellent tour i’d 100% recommend it
