In the early morning, we will collect you from your hotel in Arusha and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. The park encompasses the northwest bank and part of the alkaline Lake Manyara which itself rests in the Great Rift Valley. The park is perhaps best known for its flamingos, pelicans and cormorants but it is also the home for a few hundred other species of birds; it is therefore a paradise for ornithologists. Next to a great variety of birds, the “Big Game” can also be seen. With a bit of luck you might see elephants in the wooded regions and with even more fortune the tree-climbing lions. Indeed, it was thought for a long time that the Lake Manyara National Park is the only place where lions can be found with this atypical behaviour of climbing trees. Baboons and vervet monkeys are also found amongst the forested areas and in the more open spaces, giraffes nibble at the fresh leaves while the various types of antelopes common to the region browse for tasty shoots. After a picnic lunch, there will be more time for further game and wildlife watching before it is time to return to Arusha.

5.00Wilson Lucas is by far the best Guide / Driver in Tanzania. My wife and I did a 7 day private safari last year. Wilson is very professional and takes care of all details of the trip. We visited Serengeti, Ngorongoro, lake Manyara, Tarangire and Arusha. We followed the migration and there was nothing missing in the trip. Everyday was something better and better..... While we were in the Safari his wife had their first son. We expected him to run home, but he finished the safari as planned. He is extremely responsible and dedicated to his clients. We recommend him with no hesitation he is great friendly person. You will be pleased. Anita and Juan Canada

5.00We did a 6 day safari trip with Tan Spirit guided by the incredible Wilson. Including Arusha, Lake Manyana, Ngorogoro Crater and Serengheti. We were very fortunate to have a vehicle to ourselves which we did not expect. From the start of the trip at the airport where Wilson collected us all the way to the end where he dropped us off, he was helpful, professional and most importantly, FUN! Wilson’s eye for wildlife was unrivalled and made sure our trip was extra special every moment. Thank you once again for the experience. We will never forget it! 🦁🐯🦏🐘🦒

5.00We spent a week with Wilson in Tanzania in 3-4 different locations. He was organised and friendly the whole time, forming great relationships with all five of us. He was brilliant at tracking down the big 5, especially leopards, and was really knowledgeable about all the animals and plants. I wish Wilson a great success with his new venture and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone considering a trip with him.
