Choose FlexiToursNZ for a premium tour. We put less seats in our vehicles than factory standard and only 3 seats in the back row.

Pay a little more to be comfortable and to have everything included. This tour involves a lot of driving and is more enjoyable if you are comfortable and not crushed up against other people.

Make sure you read the small print when you look at other tours and check what is included when you compare price. We include a premium buffet lunch normally at Te Puia.

We keep the groups small with no more than 12 people on our vehicle, meaning our drivers can and will give you, personal service.

Infant seats are required by law in NZ in private vehicles for children under 7 years. We recommend the same standard be applied for your child's safety and have them available in all vehicles for a small optional gratuity for the use of seat and child restraint for the day

Fantastic visit to Hobbiton! Beautiful and amazing! So cool to see the actual film set and that it is preserved so well. The bus ride over was very comfortable and Katie was our fantastic tour guide. Highly recommend!

we took the Auckland-hobbiton-te puia-auckland trip. pickup was prompt form our hotel in auckland. we had a different driver for each step of the journey but everything was smooth. hobbiton was a blast, so cool to see the huge set up close. tour got us and another couple on an earlier tour than the rest of our bus since we were going down to rotorua. i mentioned to them that I wanted to see a cultural show at te puia and they went out of their way to make sure we got there on time to do it. Te puia was also a very fun time between the concert, geyser, kiwi birds, and crafts studios. such a great way to learn about the maori culture.

A fantastic tour. Pete, our driver, was kind, knowledgeable, entertaining and informative. Everything was so well organised and explained and the almost brand new mini bus was luxurious. A great small tour.

We are now home but I wanted to say, on behalf of our group of 8 people, we'd like to say a big "Thank you to Philippa Dean" for coming down to the Restaurant in Auckland, to take our money and make the reservations for us to the Rotorua & Hobbiton. It was a Very Enjoyable Day for us ALL! We have to say "Darryl" was SUCH A PLEASURE to have as our 1. Driver and 2. Such a Knowledgeable Guide and Excited to inform us all of how proud he is of his Country. He told us a lot of things both up and back for our 2 tours, 12 1/2 hour Day. We just wanted you to know how comfortable we were in the Vehicle, our stop for a bite to eat at "The Ally Cat", his information during the whole day was amazing! We will definitely recommend your company for anyone going to Auckland, New Zealand. Bradshaw's, Donohue's, Wardle's and Bellerive's.

Excellent tour and driver/guide. Hobbiton was fun, Te Puia was culturally interesting. And dropped off at hotel in Rotorua, transport from Auckland to Rotorua.

Our tour guide, Pete, from Flezitours, made it a personal and memorable experience. As he led us through our day, he shared so much of his culture and experience that it made it seem like we were on vacation with a friend. The tour guides at each stop were also fabulous. The addition of an inside tour of the Hobbit house was great. The second part of our trip to Rotura was also perfect! And the buffet including traditional Hangi options was delicious. We were able to see a Kiwi bird and learn so much about Māori culture. Highly recommend this tour and Pete!

Our tour guide/driver, Louise, made our day easy, fun, and special. Louise took great care of us—we had plenty of time at both places, and Louise’s informative and entertaining commentary on a variety of subjects added tremendously to our experience. Most impressively Louise and the flexi tour team had planned the day well to work in the variables that go with the flexi tour approach—accommodating several different tour needs at once—without ever making us feel like we weren’t getting the experience we wanted when we wanted it. In fact, with a couple of extra surprise stops, and a smooth pick up and drop off, we felt like our family’s experience was always Louise’s priority. We highly recommend Louise, this tour , and seeing the Hobbiton (loved going in the homes/holes!) and cultural/geothermal sites (well integrated with each other). Also the lunch Louise/Flexi tour booked for us was delightful.
