・Visit World Heritage Site Shiragawa-go in Gifu Prefecture with the largest scale of thatched roof houses, which is called “Gassho-zukuri”. The houses are capped with snow during cold time in winter and the scenery is just like a fairy-tale!

・Appreciate the historic streets of Hida Takayama. There are many delicious country-style restaurants in Takayama, so please enjoy eating out on your own.

・Gujo Hachiman is also called the "water town". It is full of atmosphere, with pebble roads, waterways, rows of willow trees, and large mansions.

・There will be shopping stop for local souvenirs such as pickles or soy bean ice-cream！

・Depart from and return to Nagoya Station, which is easily accessible for public transportation.

This tour will visit Shirakawa-go, Takayama, and Gujo Hachiman. *Please note that we will not be going to see the Shirakawago Light-up.

If there are a small number of participants, a small car may be used.

In front of Nagoya Station Taiko-dori Exit West Police Box（Nagoya Ekinishi Police Box）. Your guide will be waiting with a blue flag. Please tell your guide your name.

The tour guide will only provide simple information in English, such as departure time and duration. There will be no explanation of sightseeing.

The meeting place on the day is in front of the police box at the west exit of Nagoya Station. There is a clock in front of the police box (high place). The blue flag is the landmark.

Please note that we do not accept bus seat requests.

Latecomers or no-shows can't be refunded

The order of sightseeing may change.

Return time is around 20:30

Yesterday's weather was a state I wanted to experience very much, the scenery was charming, Wang Jie guide along the way in three fluent languages to explain, introduce the human landscape, seriously answer each guest's questions, responsible for taking care of each guest, especially I went to the toilet to delay departure for four minutes, I very much blame myself, but instead of blaming my seventy-somethings, he comforted me, I was touched. The biggest windfall was that Jay Wang's guide helped me retrieve the very precious photos I had lost of my trip to Thailand earlier this month. In order to retrieve the photos, I turned to the technical department of UQ and Samsung mobile phones, au shops, professionals in Japan and China, as well as recent college graduate friends in the United States, all failed to solve, so quickly my blood pressure soared, I didn't think in Wang Jie's hands didn't take two minutes to solve, despite his extraneous affairs, and also warm and helpful, he is really a clear-headed, knowledgeable, very good guide, I really admire him. I feel that the cost of participating in your tour is very cheap. If we drive the car ourselves as a couple, the total cost of gas + highway + parking at the attraction is much higher than your company price. We enjoyed the nature mostly, the weather was so hot we couldn’t visit all areas. The trip worth to try but not during summer time. The guide was kind of boring we felt asleep on the way to the locations and she was in a hurry. Besides, there was not enough time to explore the last stop most of the tours time was taking up by the bus.

It’s a nice trip, 3 different towns that are all worth a visit. The guide was helpful and spoke English well. June is a hot time to travel but the bus ride was easy and well air conditioned. The crowds were not a problem.

This “tour” was essentially transportation to the various sites. Very little explanation or description of the visited sites. That said, we very much enjoyed Shirakawa and Takayama. Because it was the holiday weekend, traffic was crazy and we could fit in gujo hachiman. The snow in Shirakawa was beautiful. Before you go on this trip, be sure to do some homework ion what you will be seeing.

Th tour was chaotic at best. The tour guides with the blue Wonder flag did not show up until 8:05 for the 8:15 tour start. We boarded the bus about 8:35. Most of the passengers spoke Chinese and the tour was geared to them. The guide only read a brief summary in hard to understand English. I have lived in Asia for more than 60 years so I can read the Japanese signage and gain a lot from it. The bus driver and guide were arguing constantly about the correct time to return to the bus. It was a beautiful day and the stops were fabulous. The bickering on the bus between the professionals made it uncomfortable.
A great way to tour these hard to reach gems of historical beauty.

It is not easy to access these beautiful historical towns so this very reasonably priced tour makes it all possible. We enjoyed our day immensely and our tour guide was friendly, efficient and ensured the day was well organised and everyone felt comfortable.

Easy to find meeting place, especially if you come by taxi, just ask for Shinkansen side. Tour guide Kiki was very efficient and very sweet. A long day, but well worth it. Goucho H and Takayama seem to have a closing day on a Wednesday as most shops closed in both places.

The views were amazing, as was our tour guide, Kiki. Highly recommend. So much to see and not enough time in Nakayama bc the plethora of shops but overall 5/5 for value, efficiency and convenience.
