A diverse range well knows Kartli region of cultural sites, including several historical, cultural, and landscapes. Since the first half of the III millennium BC, the area dates from classical to medieval, including and altered several times. The region was the home of gods and their earthly embodiment – priests, chiefs, and kings. Every layer of the ground keeps a memory of epochs. The region was standing over the crossroads of cultures. The significance of this arterial road was connecting east and west. It’ rocky road still preserves a clear trace of wheeled transport moving here over centuries. The region was, from time to time, ruled by Mithraism or Zoroastrianism. Sovereign priests performed pagan rituals here. Uplistsiche Cave Town
11:00 Arrive at Uplistsikhe. Uplistsikhe is an antique rock-hewn town in eastern Georgia. It was built on a left bank of the Mtkvari River, contains multiple structures dating from the Early Iron Age to the Late Middle Ages, and is notable for the unique mixture of various rock-cut cultures from Anatolia and Iran coexistence of pagan and Christian architecture.

5.00We loved our experience with Tako, she explained everything and overall it was a really nice tour. Tako hat two interns with her, Lali and Mariami, who were really nice as well and will become great tour guides one day! Remember that it will be 25€ more expensive as the entrance to the museum and the lunch is not included in the price!

5.00Had a very good trip! Covered everything important with a guide that gave all the information we needed during it. I didn't join the group lunch and ate in the free time instead. Have time admit that I dont have anything bad to say. Really good!

5.00This was a beautiful tour with breathtaking scenery and architecture. Dima was a polite and professional guide who kept everything perfectly organized. He struck the perfect balance: he gave us plenty of space to enjoy the sights, but was always available and helpful the moment we had a question. Definitely a 5-star experience!

5.00The tour was very well organized. There were reminders sent a day before the tour, which was very helpful. The guide Oko was very informative and helpful, and the driver Soso was skillful and kind. The pace of the tour was just right, with a good mix of places to visit and with options to explore on your own. The set lunch was delicious and filling, well worth the price paid.

5.00All perfect! Shoti was out guide, very knowledge and friendly . The caves are stunning as well the landscapes, Gori and Stalin museum are very interisting. Mtskheta is wonderful. 2 World heritage sites in this tour! I Highly recommend this tour!
