1.00This feedback is intended as actionable performance improvement feedback.for.thebguide and the overall structure of the tour. 1. There was too much tour time for us and not enough independent time. 2. It was hard to follow the Guide's narrative and this was worsened by the high volume of the headset/speakers on the bus. So loud it was overwhelming. While I understood each individual sentence the Guide spoke, I didn't understand how each sentence related to the previous and succeeding sentences. I could not appreciate any story line. I suggest that this Guide get coached on telling a story while simultaneously conveying love of place. The love came though but the story was lost. Ultimately we left the tour early. The Guide was kind and helpful and concerned with our well being and a genuinely nice person. She is organized and communicated well before the tour. 3. The driver was selling us water at 1 euro per bottle. Is that permissible?

5.00I’m so happy I chose this deluxe tour instead of staying near the port! Our guide showed us the best views of Marseille before heading to charming Aix-en-Provence. The mix of culture, art, and local markets was incredible. I also appreciated how comfortable the van was.

1.00Beware. There is no mention in the summary or any other notes that they DO NOT pick up at the port. You must walk a long distance. Only the night BEFORE (after the cancellation deadline ) they tell you that it is a “7 minute” walk. NOT TRUE. it took my 85 year old father almost 25 minutes to walk to the bus. FALSE Advertising. Not fair to my father and not fair to the rest of the group who had to wait.
Worth the money and time.

5.00Very good tour. Both guides were excellent. Would highly recommend. It is a lot of walking so prepare for that. Which was fine by us but if you are deciding on how active this is just be ready.
Go to Provence and skip the rest.

4.00The pick up instructions need to be explained in detail and further in advance. There were several people that walked to the bus pick up and some that went with the guide. A little confusing due to poor communication. Provence was a wonderful town. Marseille was a dirty crime and graffiti infested city. Other then the church with a lot of stairs nothing was worthy of visiting.

2.00We were picked up 1 hr after our pickup time which then put our tour behind and missed places to see and then at the end of tour we were not dropped off at pickup Point and had to get a taxi back to our port.
