4.00The trip to Province was great and very enjoyable. However, the Marselle was too short as far as free time to explore. The big disaster was making us walk what seemed to be close to half a mile from and too the ship on a hot afternoon and MY WIFE was extremely upset over it and it left a bad impression.
Too much, too fast, with not enough breaks.

1.00We had a number of issues with this tour. A day before our tour, we recieved an email requesting us to meet directly at the port once we disembarked, and we would walk 7 minutes to the bus in the main parking lot. It was extremely hot with no shade, and the walk took closer to 15 minutes. We had 2 guides, of which only one spoke English, with a very soft voice and strong french accent, which made it very challenging to hear and understand her commentary. Arrival in Aix en Provence was seemless, dropping us off at the Apple store with a choice of meeting back there in 2 hours or following her with a wireless headset to commence the tour. We chose to join her group. She walked very quickly and did not allow for any breaks or stops for water until near the end. Half of our group left or could not keep up. The guides had no consideration or made any accommodations for our group which varried in age and abilities. We had to ask for a lunch break and only had 30 minutes to find something on our own before meeting back at the Apple store. The tour to Marseille carried on and we drove by many sights and made 2 stops. The basilica was again very challenging due to the large number of steps in the blazing sun. Shopping in the old city was limited to only 30 minutes. The bus dropped us off in the parking lot at the cruise terminal, where we all had to trek back to the ship after a long hot day. Passengers asked to be dropped off at the cruise ship terminal entrance so they could take the free shuttle to the ship, but the request was denied. We had approx 25 People in our tour, and not one was happy. Overall, the tour could have been better planned and should have made provisions to be shuttled from the ship to the bus. I also think this tour crammed too much in. The heat certainly had a lot to do with everyones mood, but if the guides made more provisions for the hot weather, our experience might have been better. I would not recommend this tour. If I had to do it over again I would have chosen a tour that was only Aix en Provence, with a 2 hour guided tour followed by 2 hours of free time.

5.00This tour was well organized and I left knowing much about the area and culture. Communication was seamless through this app and WhatsApp, which gave me a great sense of security. We had a small group which I prefer and is easier to manage. The stops were interesting and informative. There is a bit of walking, as described, so it was a tad frustrating that some people were complaining.

3.00Tour in general was ok however logistics need improvement which could’ve overall enhanced the experience. Group was split into 2 minivans with the guide in one vam and us in the 2nd van with a non English speaking driver. Guide attempted to communicate through car audio system through the drivers phone which wasn’t working well. Minivan roof A/C vents weren’t working and it was hot in the back seats. Aix was nice and we got about 45 mins of free time but again I feel we could’ve gotten a better perspective of the city which I felt was lacking. Given the amount we paid for this tour and comparing this to the other cities we’ve toured, this experience was subpar.

1.00The tour description is very misleading. They make you think they pick you up right next to your Cruise ship. In reality, their bus parked very very far away from the dock, and the same situation for the drop-off location. We have elderly family members traveling with us. It was painful that they had to walk a very long distance at a fast speed to just get on the bus. Also, the tour guides were unprofessional, they didn't have radio system when speaking. You can't hear what they are saying, and they didn't even hold a flag or clean sign- very hard to follow the group in crowded areas. Furthermore, the price is even more expensive than our own cruise excursion. It was a bad experience, not worthy it at all
