Luxury Mercedes Benz Private Tour to Derry,also known as Londonderry,is a city on the River Foyle in Northern Ireland.It’s known for the intact 17th-century Derry’s Walls with 7 gates.Within the walls, spired St. Columb’s Cathedral displays artefacts from the 1688–9 Siege of Derry. Near the Peace Bridge, the Tower Museum has city views and historical exhibits. Huge stained-glass windows adorn the neo-Gothic red sandstone Guildhall. This is a Private Qualified Guided tour in your own Private Air Conditioned Minivan with privacy Glass. The tour includes a visit to the Bogside to learn about Bloody Sunday as well as the British Army's Operation Motorman and a visit to Free Derry corner with lots of opportunities for photographs along the way. After you will have lunch and we will walk around the city's ancient walls including the 16th century canon, before a visit to the peace bridge and on the way back for a drink in Ireland's highest pub the Ponderosa in the beautiful Sperrin Mountains.

Free Derry Corner

Your Own Private Walking Tour ofFree Derry Corner, which is a historical landmark in the Bogside neighbourhood of Derry, Northern Ireland, which lies in the intersection of the Lecky Road, Rossville Street and Fahan Street. A free-standing gable wall commemorates Free Derry, a self-declared autonomous nationalist area of Derry that existed between 1969 and 1972. On the corner is a memorial to the 1981 hunger strikers and several murals. There is also a memorial to those who died engaging in paramilitary activity as part of the Provisional IRA's Derry brigade.

The Bogside Artists

We will visit The Bogside Artists who are a trio of mural painters from Derry, Northern Ireland, consisting of brothers Tom and William Kelly, and Kevin Hasson (b. 8 January 1958). Their most famous work, a series of outdoor murals called the People's Gallery, is located in the Bogside neighbourhood of Derry and depicts the events surrounding sectarian violence and civil rights protests in Northern Ireland during the Troubles.

    Paula was a great tour guide. I felt like I was traveling with a friend. We enjoyed chatting with her during the tour and she was very informational and friendly. We even got to meet her husband!

    I had a wonderful time at Derry. Barry m rorschach guide was a great host. He took Mr all around Derry. I'm a Derry Girls fan and always wanted to visit. There's lots of walking so wearing the right shoes is essential! Also check the weather forecast.

    Barry was prompt to meet us. His van was comfortable for our group of six passengers. He was knowledgeable as he shared points of interest and very accommodating in meeting our sightseeing requests.

    We had an exceptional time on our Giants Causeway tour with Paula . She was friendly , knowledgeable , witty , cheerful and all around amazing . We opted for the Giants Causeway instead of Londonderry, which was a very easy switch of itinerary with Barry , who was very quick to respond and easy to work with . Paula got us to all of the sights quickly and safely , she definitely knew her stuff . Suggested a cute place for a quick bite to eat before visiting the basalt columns , and even gave us the 1 euro for the bus ride back up which was so nice so we didn’t have to walk all the way back . We stopped at the most amazing castle ruins and other magnificent view points. Look no further than to book any tour with Barry and Paula !

    Our driver Barry was fantastic. We were able to hear John Kelly speak at the Bloody Sunday Museum in Derry. His brother Michael was killed that day. It was one if the most moving and memorable moments of our entire trip in Ireland. Barry went into great detail about the monuments and history of Derry- taking us to see murals and statues from the troubles. He knew his way around the town and gave great insight as to how things were and still are today. Fantastic tour that we highly recommend!

    Barry is such a great guy and his knowledge of the area was fantastic. He answered all our questions. Took us to all of the interesting muriels and areas and explained what they were or why they were there. Highly recommended trip . Barry your a star 🌟. Thank you again.
