Aghpati Monastery It was founded by Queen Khosrovanush (wife of the Armenian king Ashot III) in 976. This active monastery consists of one vestibule, two sepulchral corridors, a refectory, a scriptorium, an Amazaspi chapel, a bell tower and several chapels. You will admire the architectural ensemble, as well as visit the ancient tombs and Khachkar crosses.

On Lake Sevan there is a huge restaurant stretching out from where there are beautiful views of Lake Sevan, here we will have the opportunity to taste the delicious products of Lake Sevan.

5.00A great way to experience Armenia if you have short time to spare. The trip covers most of the tourist spots and we loved it. The weather is cold especially in the morning. There are plenty of food options in the food court and prices are reasonable. Our guide ( I don’t get his name) is very funny, always cracking jokes, and is very well informed as he shares information throughout our journey.

5.00The trip was a wonderful day put, Khatuna was an amazing guide making sure we were very well informed about the history of Armenia and that the trip ran perfectly to time. There was a wonderful stop at Lake Sevan with food in a family restaurant which offered real home-style cooking at a good price. A few brief stops in Yerevan later in the day made for a very informative tour. Definitely worth it, but it will be a 17 hour dau!

5.00It is a very long day but well worth it, you'll see many places in Armenia. I was lucky to have a knowledgeable and funny driver, unfortunately I can't recall his name (possibly starts with B, on Fri 20th March). It felt like we had a mini-Eurovision on the way back, each of us played a song from our country. The only downside was the weather, it was cold, snowing and raining heavily! I would've preferred to have a free choice of restaurant for lunch as we were taken to an establishment that seemed to be a lot more expensive than others nearby. All in all, it was a great experience!
