San Sebastián (known as Donostia in Basque) is a city renowned worldwide for its gastronomic tradition. Without doubt the unrivalled “Star” and featured in every bar is the Pintxo. The picturesque old town (Parte Vieja) is completely packed with Pintxos bars — so many that knowing where to go and what to order can be completely overwhelming. We will take you to the very finest pintxo bars that visitors are unlikely to discover on their own and we will suggest the best pintxo in each bar and the most suitable drink to accompany it, chosen from Cider, Txakoli (Basque white wine) or red wine. From our meeting point we will visit the Old Town of San Sebastian where you will learn about Basque traditions and customs. You will visit bars off the normal tourist trail, eating and drinking like locals do.

5.00Amazing food! More than a guide, Eske’s a host to home city San Sebastián, connecting us to the history and culture of old town. We had a great time and can’t recommend enough.
Don't pinch the euros and book with Esky

5.00We had one night in San Sebastian so we could not afford to search and wander for the right pintxos. So we booked with Esky. Esky was a fantastic tour guide tailoring our pintxos stops based on our food preferences. We has a great time with the other couple who participated on the tour with us. My teenage son got to experience new foods and learned how to pour a sidra inro a glass. Esky encouraged sharing and tasting while making sure the kitchen delivered the best pintxos. Nothing was served pre- made. It was either hot and fresh or it was not accepted by Esky. Sure you can good with a cheaper tour and go to all the tourist favorites but I feel booking with a local who will provide a more personal experience is worth the price

5.00I went with my family, and we had a great experience. What made the experience the most memorable was the personality of the tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the spot, clearly loved by the locals, and we enjoyed eating our way through the restaurants in the old town. Highly recommend!!😀

5.00Just awesome. We’ve done food tours in Dijon, Lyon, Paris, Bordeaux, Bologna, Reykjavik and more. None better than this. One example. We went to a place my friend and I had already visited. But she had the Pintxos freshly made and it was a different experience. If you are looking for a food tour and skip hers you are having a lesser experience. I would do again if I came back because she would curate a different tour.
