Come see Tennessee's most unique distillery offering a wide range of award winning spirits. Tour our amazing distillery with five hand-built still systems capable of producing everything from vodka to rum, absinthe to agave and of course our astonishing gin which may be one of the very best in the US. We make whiskey too! Bourbon, rye and Single Malt are all produced in-house and aged in our signature Boxcar Barrelhouse!

The distillery is a proud member of the Tennessee Whiskey Trail!

Gate 11 Distillery

The Gate 11 Distillery is a small craft operation located on two different floor levels adjacent to our cocktail bars and bottle shop. On the first floor, tour participants will learn about Gate 11's wide range of award-winning spirits and will see the our bottling operations, mash cooker and fermenter and will see the bottom portions of our pot still and column stills. On the second level, tour participants will see the top portions of our pot and column stuill systems and our three smaller botanical extraction stills. On this level, they will also learn a bit of the history of some of the unique spirits we produce and our product development process. After the distillery tour, participants will be guided to our tasting room where they will be offered their choice of four of our award-winning spirits to taste. Options include: vodka, gin, white rum, overproof rum, absinthe blanche, agave blanco, agave reposado, agave anejo, single malt whiskey, bourbon and rye.

Tour started at 5pm. When we arrived at 5pm he had already started the tour. He had a lot of experience and knowledge. My friend felt he gave the other couple more attention. Overall!

So interesting! Amazing what they can do in such a small production space! Interesting story, GREAT spirits! And you get to sample 4. My husband and I each picked different samples, so we actually sampled 8! Tour is a great way to learn about and support a small business. I don't want to give anything away, but it truly is amazing what happens here!

Very good and educational and good tour. We learned a lot about what goes into making different Vodka’s, Gin, rum and others. The owner has a chemistry background, which made sense to how he knew what he was doing.

Quinton did an amazing job! He is very passionate and knowledgeable about the distillery. We sampled all of what Gate 11 has to offer and it’s some of the best I’ve ever had!

This tour had a little bit of everything - we got the history of the building, mechanics of distilling, and learned some chemistry! Not to mention all of the spirits in the tasting room were phenomenal. Best vodka we’ve ever had! Definitely do this tour if you’re in the area.
