2.00This was my first diving experience (hence, diving initiation), however I felt like our diving instructor (C), didn't put in the effort to explain anything prior to getting into the water. I did not feel prepared, nor did my equipment allow me to sink appropriately, which made me very anxious. The whole time, I was trying to orient myself and tried to dive appropriately. While I never felt insecure or unsafe, I did not feel prepared for diving and had to learn on the go. I feel like this would have been a better experience if my dive instructor had been more involved, and better prepared me for my first dive. The area in which we dove had a sunken plane. I would have preferred more fish and reef action. The water was very clear and warm which was nice for a first dive. I would not recommend for a first dive. This is more for experienced divers, contrary to the desripstion.

4.00High-quality equipment, transport and communication. Naia kept us informed of the status of the transportation, Nicolas picked us up near the cruise ship pier and it was a pleasant drive to the marina. All equipment was clean and ready and they placed it all on the dive boat for us. Thomas led us on a nice long dive without being too controlling. Water and espresso awaited after the dive! I rated it 4 instead of 5 stars only because they did not have any underwater photographers and they did not have the type of PADI dive documentation we received at other dive shops which could be helpful for future certification.

5.00The staff at Eleuthera Tahiti Diving center were all amazing. This was my first ever scuba lesson and my instructor was very professional and explained everything in detail and, most of all, made my experience so awesome! I highly recommend this for anyone who might be interested in learning to scuba.

5.00We had such a great time diving with our guides Leia and Gilles(sp?)! We are a family of four with two older teens and not one of us had ever dived before (we're from Alaska)- both guides were incredibly kind and patient and made sure we had a blast and helped us through any hesitation with compassion and optimism. This is one of the peak memories of our vacation! I only wish we had had an underwater camera.

5.00Just perfect first dive!!! Supervision, support from exceptional instructors, lots of explanations, we progress at our own pace. Sublime boat and plane wreck diving location with a multitude of tropical fish, we just want to go back!

5.00Our instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable and made sure that we were extremely comfortable under the water. We saw many different fish as well as the manmade reef made from a sunken wreck and plane.

5.00I decided to book my initiation dive near the end of my stay in Tahiti. Eleuthera was able to accommodate. Jean is an incredible instructor! He (literally) held my hand throughout my dive. He allowed me to feel comfortable in the water and went at my own pace. He was nice enough to take pictures as well! I highly recommend!

5.00I loved my diving baptism! Mael, the instructor knew how to put me in confidence from the beginning with his professionalism and his relaxed mood, having already had an experience in Australia where I panicked underwater, I hesitated to dive again, I am extremely happy to have overcome my fear because I not only enjoyed my dive but I also got to contemplate one of the most beautiful diving spots with dozens of turtles (the Source). Thank you Mael! Superb experience that I will reproduce for sure!
