Dingle Bay Eco Tours is a 4 hour boat tour of the Blasket Islands and Dingle Bay with the opportunity to see whales, dolphins , seals, basking shark (in season), puffins and other marine wildlife and view the wonderful seascapes and landscapes off the west coast of Ireland along the Wild Atlantic Way. The tour is informal and casual with experienced skipper and crew and wildlife guide on board. The vessel has a flying bridge for wildlife viewing and marine toilet on board.

Trips may be cancelled at short notice if unsuitable weather or sea conditions so please supply mobile contact phone number inc. international dialing code in case of any last minute change of schedule.

This trip is not suitable for children under 10 years of age

Please arrive about 15 to 20 minutes before 1pm departure time to park car on pier; put on suitable warm clothing and for safety meeting.

The boat departs at 1pm sharp. Please telephone ahead in good time if you expect to be late. The boat will not wait more than 5 minutes for late arrivals.

Under no circumstances will a refund be given for "no show" or late arrivals. We require 24 hr. notice for any cancellation or refund.

Dolphin, whale and bird watching trip around the Blasket islands and Dingle Bay in whale watching tour boat M.V. "Blasket Princess" There is inside seating for 20 passengers and on deck seating for 20 passengers. We also have a flying bridge for wildlife viewing suitable for about eight passengers at a time so passengers can vary the trip by sitting inside or out on deck and occasional visits up to the flying bridge.

It was all very well organized. The guide had a huge knowledge of life at and in the sea and could infect with his enthusiasm. We have seen so many dolphins, whales and seals. An unforgettable experience!

Extraordinary! On August 11, 2025, we saw seals, dolphins and whales! The guide helped us get on and off the boat and made the effort to help us understand his explanations despite the language barrier.

The tour was an absolute success. We watched Dolphins, Minke whales, seals and lots of seabirds in their natural habitat. John was a great guide and provides inside knowledge of the animals, the landscape and the country.
A fun day seating Irish Sea life.

Great experience. The boarding was seamless. The three of us are seniors, I have a problem with a foot but the ramp was not difficult. Eco guide was excellent. Not overly done. The weather was definitely Irish, had some sprinkles, clouds and sunshine. The captain was well experienced. Saw minke whales, dolphin, and seals. Bird life a plenty. We would do it again.

Very nice captain and guide. There was a lot of interesting information about nature and history. The view was beautiful despite fog and some light rain. Dolphins and whales didn't miss out, of course, a great must-have experience!

Fantastic opportunity to see so much aquatic life. Saw several pods of dolphins and some minke whales and seals as well as numerous birds.

Lovely tour guy, who told us story, explained everything. We saw Blasket island, seals, Atlantic puffin, was sunny day. Friendly group with one man with his dog. We got a chance to go upstairs on the boat, 7 people in a one time. That’s was incredible. View, people, atmosphere. You’ll love it. The tour start from Ventry Harbour.

Very good, interesting explanations from the guide, to whom you notice the love of nature! Dolphins - whales - sea lions - birdlife ... WOW !!!
Booking through Tripadvisor was a flop! Guided tour booked in German, not received.

The tour itself was awesome. The guide a professional, however, despite a booking in German, an English obtained. It's a shame, I call it a joke!

Fantastic day on the water. Lots of dolphins. No whale sharks that day. The trip was beautiful and educational. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable on land, sea and Irish history.
