Over the years, we travelled far and wide across the lands of Romania, from the wild beaches of the Delta, all the way to the forgotten villages of Maramures. Our path was crossed by kind people, traditions that stood still in time and locations we struggled to leave behind.
Our shared wanderlust and desire to share these wonderful places with you, thus, gave birth to Explore Transylvania concept. We’re thinking things a bit differently combining wildlife, nature and outdoor trips with cultural/ historical incursion in the rich Romanian history. We will offer our full expertise, incredible locations and a 100% hands-on assistance; all that’s left for you to do is to dream away and enjoy this unique experience.

Our guide will go through the history of the Monastery before you arrive at the spot.
Bran Castle
The guide would walk you to the castle where he'll purchase the tickets and get you inside the castle. He'll previously talk you through the history of the castle. You will visit the castle at your own pace.
Brasov
Before arriving in Brasov you can add a walking tour in the Old Town that could take up to 1h30min. This activity is not included and have to be booked in advance. Ask your guide for more information regarding booking this activity.

Centrul Istoric Sighisoara
You will begin early 8 o'clock AM. On the way to Sibiu, we will get to visit Sighisoara Medieval Citadel (UNESCO town) and have lunch in Dracula's very own house. After lunch we will go for a stroll in the Fortress. A visit to the Clock Tower is recommended (admission fee not incuded).
Sibiu
Enjoy a walking tour of Sibiu - cultural capital of Transylvania. Or discover the Old Town at your own pace. This activity needs to be booked in advance.
Travel to Targoviste

Cozia Monastery
We will depart after breakfast towards Targoviste, the former Wallachian capital from where Dracula ruled the country and spent more of his time while on the throne. We will visit the beautiful Cozia monastery on the road where Dracula's granddad is buried.
Targoviste
After a few hours we will reach Targoviste, the former Wallachian capital from where Dracula ruled the country and spent more of his time while on the throne. We will visit Chindiei Tower and have a late lunch. Prior to arrival we will stop on the road for a snack.
Bucharest
Sit back and relax after the visit of Targoviste as we will travel back to Bucharest for the next 2 hours.

5.00I've been to many places in Europe but there are none that compare to Transylvania, which has to be one of the best kept secrets on the continent. From the moment you're picked up by Marius and the team, you can tell you're about to experience something special. There's the trip from Bucharest up through the mountains to the vibrant town of Brasov, which is worth the visit by itself. There's a real buzz about the place, and there is something for every taste. For me, the local beers and the food were just the ticket. Brasov is just the base though, as you're there to follow in the footsteps of Vlad Dracula himself. Bran Castle sits guarding the pass through the mountains near Brasov, and has done so for nearly 8 centuries. It's historic, fascinating, wonderfully gothic and just a little bit creepy into the bargain! But what really puts the icing on the tour cake, is Marius and the team. Nothing is too much trouble; they all speak excellent English and very soon, you feel like you're being guided around by a friend. So if you're looking for something that's just 'different' then I can't recommend this trip highly enough. But as to the question of whether to go out after sundown? You'll just need to answer that one by yourself....

5.00Great experience from start to finish. Brasov is a very pretty city and it's perfectly mixed with scenery for all tastes. Marius the guide is warm, responsive and always willing to help, very knowledgeable guide. Dracula's castle is interesting and the outside is picture worthy, as is everything!

5.00The area is gorgeous. Romanian food is awesome especially after you have some palinca (local firewater). You must visit the Castle and don't miss Brasov and Rasnov cities.
