Ston
At no additional charge, only at the guest's request. Because of its geopolitical and strategic position, Ston has had a rich history since ancient times. Located at the gates of the peninsula, surrounded by three seas, protected by four hills, rich in fresh water and saltwater, fertile plains, it has been an important political, cultural and ecclesiastical centre. The fortress of Ston was one of the largest construction projects of the time, with an original length of 7000 m, consisting of the walls of Ston and Little Ston. The Great Wall consists of three fortresses, and the walls and fortresses are flanked by 10 rounds of 31 squares and 6 semi-circular bastions. The complex defense corps has been shaped over the course of four centuries, due to the development of weapons. The walls were of great importance because they were defending the saltworks that gave 15,900 ducats every year to the Dubrovnik Republic, the shellfish farm and the city itself.

5.00From the moment we arrived, the whole team made us feel incredibly welcome. Everything was perfectly organized, from the scenic drive and warm hospitality to the relaxed atmosphere by the sea. The food was outstanding: local fish pâté, oysters, mussels, and freshly grilled sea bass and tuna, all paired with excellent local wine and homemade liqueurs. My girlfriend and I especially loved the peaceful setting and the little tour of the property down to the docks, it felt authentic and special. Definitely one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had in Croatia, and one we’d recommend to anyone traveling along the coast!

From the moment we were picked up in a luxurious Mercedes van, everything felt seamless and thoughtfully curated. The highlight was the gourmet lunch stop in a charming olive grove on the Pelješac peninsula. The setting alone was breathtaking, but the food elevated the entire experience. We were treated to a multi-course feast featuring fresh oysters, mussels, fish pâté, local cheeses, and perfectly grilled sea bass and tuna—all sourced within walking distance of the table. The homemade wine and olive oil added a personal touch that made every bite memorable. A special shoutout to our hostess Antea, whose warmth, energy, and attention to detail made us feel truly welcome. Her hospitality was the heart of the experience—gracious, hardworking, and genuinely passionate about sharing the best of her region. If you're traveling between Dubrovnik and Split and want to turn a transfer into a highlight of your trip, this is the way to do it. Highly recommended!

5.00Our driver Joško was wonderful. He gave us so much information about the region. The big surprise was the free lunch by the sea, included along the way. We had fresh caught that day mussels, tuna, and sea bass. The lunch was a highlight of our trip so far.

5.00One of the very Best Experiencing in Croatia we’ve had!! And we’ve been here for two weeks so far! Amazing, incredible and delicious!! Truly, if you’re traveling between Split and Dubrovnik you MUST do this. Very very special. Your private driver picks you up in a beautiful brand new Mercedes Benz Van (from your door) and drives you to paradise. The meal was absolutely incredible. First course was local fish pate, shrimp, olives, anchovies, cheeses and bread. Local wine was also served and some lovely home made liquors . Second course were oysters farmed right from there dock. Next were the best mussels I’ve ever eaten!! Wow! Then main dish was fresh tuna and sea bass cooked over an open flame! The best host ever was Otto!! Congratulations on the best adventure, excursion and transfer we’ve ever had. Thank you so so much!! 😊👍💕

5.00An outstanding experience with this agency. They put an effort on every single part of the tour, which makes everything easier and you can feel restless knowing you are in a good hands. Highlights of this tour was hard to select because everything was beyond satisfaction, but I must compliment the whole staff, their hospitality, kindness and knowledge that they shared with us is amazing, experienced and you can see that they enjoy making this happen. Transfer that we got was luxurios brand new van which pointed us directly to location where we had lunch. Amazing venue surrunded by its nature, perfect location to escpe local crowd and at the same time try these local specialties. Quality and nature origin ingridients in every course that we had, marineted with home made extra virgin olive by host it's own! Home made vine is a special touch which makes you forgett all your worries with every sip🤣 We will definitelly repeat this experience and recommend it to our friends and loved ones, definitely worth every penny! Sending regards to these amazing people who made our stay and this experience worth coming back, even falling in love with this place!! Best regards, till next time xX

5.00We had an unforgettable dining experience at the tavern in Brijesta, Pelješac. Chef Ivor prepared the most delicious mussels and fish fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to absolute perfection. The mussels were light and flavorful, while the fish was juicy, aromatic, and a true showcase of Dalmatian cuisine. The atmosphere of the tavern is authentic and charming, with warm and professional service that makes you feel right at home. The wine recommendation paired beautifully with the dishes, completing an exceptional culinary journey. A must visit spot on Pelješac for anyone who wants to experience genuine local flavors at their very best.

5.00The time we spent at hacienda Pelješac was the best experience this summer. The food the service were on the top level. Grate sea food with view of the see and sea shells farm....it was unique. Thank you Ado for a beautiful day. See you next year for sure 👍
