We booked this tour as it’s titles early morning with the hope to get to Chichen Itza before the crowds. Instead we had to get up early and Uber to a far away part of Cancun to get picked up, which we were only informed late the night before. You then spend too much time in a tourist trap town where they try to sell you bottles of alcohol with your face on it and Mayan birth date calenders before finally getting to Chichen Itza. The tour will take more money than the cost of entry off you on the bus to “beat the queue” but then keep the extra money?? You spend less than 2 hours at Chichen Itza before getting sent to the Cenote which was a cool experience, but have to pay extra for a life jacket and locker since you’re not allowed to swim without one and not allowed to take your bag down to the cenote. More of the same tourist trap stuff at the Cenote with people dressed at Mayans trying to take photos and staff trying to sell tequila. Last stop is tequila tasting in a town which seems a complete waste of time as half of our group just walked away not interested. Probably seeing as everyone was up before the sunrise and still 2 hours away from Cancun at this point. When we finally get back to Cancun the tour organisers not only want to not drop us at the hotel we’re staying at, but also didn’t want to drop us off at the meeting point we went to that morning as it would require a 5 minute U turn. So they decided dropping us off on the side of the freeway was a good drop off point. If you like terrible organised tours and massive tourist traps where the organisers get a kick back at every opportunity, then this is the tour for you. We went on several other tours for Mayan ruins and cenote visits during our time in Quintana Roo and luckily they were all 5 star experiences.

What a incredible experience! Moto Alfredo and Alberto were the best tour guides i could have asked for :) they are knowledgeable friendly funny kind it was honestly probably one of the best tours I've ever been on :-) we arrived at Chichen Itza at about 10am then spent 2 hours there, headed to chichikan cenote for a beautiful swim and delicious Cohcinita 😋 The cenote was absolutely incredible! Refreshing, even had a dock to jump off! I can't recommend this to her enough and truly want to say thank you to our tour guides who were what really made this to tour :-)

The tour bus never showed up. We waited more than 45 minutes for the bus. Communication back and forth with Viator proved futile. We’re fighting to get a refund. We’re not working with this company ever again.
