5.00We visited Cancun for the 1st time. We took this excursion mainly to see Chichen Itza and a cenote. Our guide, Ulises, kept us in touch during the whole trip via text. In addition, he was knowledgeable regarding Mayan Culture. He gave out clear info for us to follow so that we would not feel lost. It’s important to have an informative guide to visit Chichen Itza or you would only see a bunch of stone architectures with no meaning. Our driver was an excellent driver. He safely took us to each destination and the ride was gentle. If travelers only have one day to spend outside of Cancun, this is the excursion that I highly recommend. One more word: Before we booked this excursion, we heard lots of words about safety issues. After this trip, I have confidence that this excursion is safe to international travelers.

4.00The trip has two main attractions including temple of Kukulcan and a sanote. Both are very interesting and absolutely worth the visit. The guide kept the time well, gave very good Mayan culture overview and detailed narrative on the Kukulcan site, it’s math, astronomy, and acoustic significance. There are two additional stops soverniors and tequila, and prices are too high.

4.00Fun trip with the family, although I would watch out for the Mayan horoscope and the planned gift shop as the prices are almost ripoff ish. The trip itself was fun and informative, good included lunch, fun cenote dip. Uli was an amazing tour guide and kept everyone entertained. Bus ride was long but comfortable (nice coach bus). All in all, it was a great trip and it was 100% worth it.

5.00Wonderful full day excursion! We loved the easy access to Chichén Itza with the group, the buffet lunch and the cenote, and the lovely town of Valladolid. Uli’s commentary was knowledgeable and funny, and we appreciated Jorge’s excellent driving. Insider tip: there are great hammocks to relax behind the buffet at Selva Maya. Be forewarned, there is an initial stop at a Mayan community that is essentially a shakedown; they don’t list that on the itinerary. It’s good to support the locals, but the stop should be no more than 30 minutes, and the rest of the time could be spent in Valladolid, for example.

5.00Ulises was the best tour guide & George was the best bus driver. At first I thought the tour was a bit on the pricey side but after experiencing it, it was worth every penny! Swimming in the cenote was magical & experiencing the ruins in person was also amazing. Ulises was very entertaining & so knowledgeable about the Mayan culture. I would highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Cancun! You will not regret it!
