Superb. Our guide, Robert, was incredibly knowledgeable and its clear that he is enthusiastic a out his subject. He gave us an incredible overview of the history of the region including religion, flora, fauna, geology, and politics. He is easy to get along with and could answer all of our questions. The views along the way are spectacular and we're worth the price alon. Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to take in the beautiful nature outside sarajevo while getting a great overview of this beautiful country.

This was a great tour. There were two of us and just one other person so it felt like a private tour. It was a very long day with an early start and late finish so it was really important it was very well organised - which it was. I was impressed there was a very good and safe driver - Benjamin - as well as the Hamza the guide which I think was necessary because of the length of the day and the amount of driving. They both looked after us very well and considerately. The tour takes you to some beautiful and fascinating places. I think anywhere else in Europe you would be jostling crowds as you saw sights like these - but we usually had them to ourselves. Walking across the the bridge over the Drina at Visegrad and then catching a little boat with a local fisherman at the end off the rickety jetty felt very special. The Dobrun Monastery was stunningly beautiful. Crossing over into Western Serbia and catching a little train and the short walk to the spectacular viewpoint in the Tara national park were also great. However, I think what made the trip most special was just seeing and understanding a bit more about the places we passed through and being with local people as they had a day out or went about their day to day lives

They say the journey through life is an interesting one. So was this one into Serbia. Stephen was a great guide, he explained historical facts on all points of the tour in thorough detail, I am grateful to be sitting next to him throughout the tour. He also gave me standing elevation by saying i am a local, as I have been to Bosnia 3 times. But he said there is one more procedure left… to smoke a cigarette. Haha i am just kidding about the smoking bit and so was he. We discussed personal stories from life and we also discussed music as well during the end of the tour. Its good to have a guide that does not just talk about history but one you can have general discussions with during the journey, when there is no history to talk about.

My friends and I did the Sarajevo to East Bosnia and Serbia day trip and the Sarajevo to Dubrovnik transfer tour. Both tours were absolutely amazing!! Our guide for both tours, Adis, was beyond exceptional!!!!!!!! Genuinely, those two days of tours were some of the most fun our group has had in years. The train ride in Serbia and fresh pomegranate juice in Počitelj were highlights for us. Adis was so knowledgeable, engaging, friendly, cool, helpful, and funny. His energy and passion made the experience fantastic, and he made our trip 1000 times better - we are so thankful for him. We’ve been on many tours, but he was by far the best tour guide we've ever had. Both tours felt like a really good value. The vans were clean, comfortable, and spacious. These smaller group tours are a way better way to tour than on the coach busses which had to park further away at many of the locations we went to. I didn’t catch the names of our drivers, but they were both great too. The entire team at Funky Tours is awesome, definitely recommend!!!

Very pretty scenery on the route to and from Serbia. Please be aware that the train and boat ride do not operate in the winter season. The train os not a steam train it is a diesel train when it operates we were told by the guide. If the snow is on the ground it is near impossible to get to the view points. This said the guides were excellent and done as much as they could with is weather permitting.

Fascinating trip into Serbia, the guide Senad was awesome and had much information to share. The ride was long and some of the “ sites” were mediocre but well worth it to travel and explore the geographic location and to see my 51 st country bi highly recommend this tour!
