Your friendly guide will pick you up directly from your hotel and transport you to the Elephant Sanctuary. As you look forward to seeing these majestic creatures, there is a tangible sense of anticipation in the air.
You are welcomed by the sound of trumpeting elephants as you enter the sanctuary. Your tour guide takes you to an expansive area where numerous elephants are free to roam. You watch in astonishment as they interact with one another, pushing and swinging their trunks.

5.00Jason was a solid guide, picked us up directly at the hotel, and was extremely knowledgeable of all the things we saw alongside the road. Once we arrived to the elephant sanctuary, we learned about the elephants, brushed them,and walked with them!

5.00Jason was warm, welcoming and was ready to answer any questions that we had. It was a spacious and smooth ride to and from the sanctuary to our hotel. The Elephant Sanctuary is a once lifetime experience. It was amazing to get so close to them. None of us wanted the experience to end. Highly recommend!

5.00Perfect organization and timing, personal pick-up and care by Jason. Felt completely safe as solo traveler. Very knowledgeable about animals and geography. Lion tour and elephant sanctuary very good value for price, can recommend Deeprift Ventours without any reservations, will definitely tell my friends to choose.

5.00This was an intimate elephant experience with guides and handlers. We enjoyed it very much. It’s about 1 1/2 hours out of Johannesburg(we stayed at the airport area) and well worth the time.
