4.00Although this trip is mainly to visit Nizhny Novgorod and Yangtze, but once on the highway, our sight is drawn by the sharp, colorful sandy mountains, if there is a lake with water, it must be better than the mountains of Los Angeles, unfortunately, under the mountains can only see yellow sand and the oasis. In Vanguardia, we climb the hillside, with the first villages built thousands of years ago, the irrigation water channels brought from the hillside and the ruined walls, still witness the heart of mankind for survival. The old city of Nizhny Novgorod is not large, the tourism business is mainly, can not let us stay; but in the state of Nizhny Novgorod there is an irrigation channel, abundant water, clear water quality, really admire the former people who have worked hard to live in the desert.

5.00A very enjoyable experience! Visiting the historical Fanja and seeing the view of the valley was amazing. Walking around Nizwa with Ghusun was both educational and relaxing and overall fun.

5.00I had an amazing first day exploring Oman on this tour. Starting with the lively goat and cow market in Nizwa then to the forts, souqs, and cultural experiences, every stop offered a unique and memorable insight into the Omani culture. The mix of history, local traditions, and food made it such a great experience. I highly recommend this tour.

2.00We expected much more for this tour. To begin with, the car that picked us up was dirty. Our guide although kind and polite limited to just drive the vehicle and provide only few basic insights of the sights we visited. The highlight of the tour was Nizwa castle and fort but the remaining places we visited are not really breathtaking nor do they merit the long drive and high cost. Overall, the experience was just OK but I wouldn’t do it again.

3.00We were expecting a lot more from this tour. To begin with, the car that picked us up was dirty. The tour guide limited to drive the vehicle and provide only the basic insights of the places we were visiting, no background or history. He was kind and polite but not really a great tourist guide. The highlight was definitely the castle and fort at Nizwa, the remaining sites in my opinion are not worth the long drive and the high cost of this tour. There was no water at the car which is always challenging with this heat. Overall just an OK day but don’t think it’s worth the price.
Ghusun is the best!
