5.00A few mornings ago I was transported by a rythmic saunter through the shady woods, watching with wonder as butterflies glided by and huge vines loomed from laden branches. The horse beneath me was sensible and constant, pressing forward with a desire to reach the front of the pack which led me inexorably further into the wilds. The guides around me were friendly and charming, making me feel instantly comfortable on an animal I'd never riden on in my life. Despite my horse's huge stature I never once felt worried or out of control, so confident was I in the steed's good sense and my guides' good training. If I can offer one lament it is only that the tour finally ended, and I could not stay in that magical moment of calm as I listened to my horse's gentle footsteps on the jungle floor. If I can offer one joy, it is that a thing so small as a morning spent on horseback has the potential to make you happy, and if you are lucky you can hold on to that happiness long after you dismount the horse.

5.00I absolutely loved this experience. The cloud forest is stunning, the horses were gentle and well cared for, and the guides were friendly and great throughout. It was peaceful, beautiful, and one of the best things I did in Boquete. Highly recommended!

4.00Luis Elias was my or our guide this morning, which fortunately took place. Apparently only I had booked through the app and with only one person... But she had spontaneously registered another young woman via her tour guide and so there were two of us. The horses were introduced and given a few basic information; then it started. Unfortunately, the first 30% of the route was along the road and there was not much to see here either. At the end of the road there was at least a good photo spot with beautiful views. Then we went into the forest, end paths, winding paths. Every now and then the guide explained something, but even with two people it was difficult for the back one to notice much. I didn't expect to see sloths, monkeys, raccoons or any other animals, and I did. Here and there a butterfly. Overall, it was very slowing, relaxing; however, I would have liked sections where you can sometimes trot or gallop; or leave the usual path... So I have had more beautiful, varied and exciting rides.

5.00The horses were all very well taken care of, and the owner had pride in the land and told us all about the history. We started off with mountain views and took a long path through the forest that had butterflies and shade. Wonderful experience for anyone!

5.00Experience beautiful landscapes on well mannered horses. Great for beginners or experienced riders too. Eric our giude was very informative and attentive. Cost very reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!

5.00I booked the trip spontaneously due to a recommendation from a friend. I was impressed by how straightforward and smooth everything was organized by Eric. A married couple was still there and Eric accompanied us personally. My horse was totally relaxed and I didn't have to be shy. The environment was enchanting. First you had a fantastic view of the volcano Baru, then the entire valley of Alto Boquete opened up in its beauty before us. Eric was able to give us lots of interesting insights into the area and some tips for further excursions. Then we went with the horses through the cloud forest, nature pure-simply fantastic. Also, besides the information from Eric, you could enjoy the landscape in silence, which was important to me. I really enjoyed it and returned to the hotel full of great impressions that day. It was all around top and truly unforgettable. I hope I can come back again and experience more wonderful excursions. Thanks to all involved of Finca Las Huacas!

5.00From the moment we were greeted, the stuff was very friendly. The horses were very well kept. We received clear instructions on how to handle the horses and the guide was providing information about the plants and animals of the area. He also made sure to take plenty of pictures of our group to capture our family time. We highly recommend this tour. It is an unforgettable experience.

5.00Absolutely amazing horse riding experience! Safe, professional, friendly, bilingual and welcoming. The horses were very well cared for and looked healthy. Equipment was excellent. Highly recommended and one of my best Panamanian experiences!
