Storyline: Elm Forest is a place of whispered legends, where people vanish and ghostly figures roam. As paranormal investigators, you venture into its depths, drawn by reports of distant screams and eerie lights. The cabin holds a dark secret - witchcraft, sacrifices, and a deadly curse. You've entered now you must escape....You have 60 minutes before the curse sets in, escape or be one of the many that have been claimed forever.
Suitability: *EPILEPSY WARNING* There are bright lights that flash in this room. THIS ROOM HAS OCCULT RELIGIOUS-THEMED CONTENT. R13-themed room. This room is dark, and those with poor eyesight may find it difficult.

5.00An activity the kids really enjoyed. Highly recommend. Will definitely go again when we visit. Staff was kind and gave a little extra time to finish the room.

5.00We visited Confinement Escape Rooms for our staff function, Deiryn had everything ready for us and the event went off without a hitch! Everyone had a blast and commented on how much they enjoyed it :-) . We will definitely be back, thanks Deiryn!

5.00We booked the Scavenger Hunt. Divided the family into 2 Teams and competed for a winner's bragging rights. great fun and became the topic of conversation for the rest of the night. Highly recommend for family entertainment

5.00Excellent set up, clear communication. Cabin in the Woods was a hard one; we did not escape. Was fun though. I’ve never seen an escape room that uses clues and spaces from previous rooms. Maybe it’s a New Zealand thing?

5.00Did two escape rooms (cabin in the woods and hunting lodge) for our xmas work do. Loved them!! So much fun!! Highly recommend Confinement rooms Taupo. The staff are super friendly and the rooms are really fun and get the brain working. Will definitely be back for more rooms!!

5.002nd time for most of our group in the escape room experience, thoroughly enjoyed by us all. Bonus is we finished and got out of our room. Will definitely return to try another room😎
