Chasing the Northern Lights by ATV – A Unique Arctic Experience

Join us for a magical evening beneath the flaming sky of the Northern Lights – on four wheels through wild and beautiful nature! After pickup from your hotel, the harbor, or the tourist information center, we drive to the small village of Kviby, where you'll receive warm clothing, a helmet, and a thorough safety briefing.

In small groups, we ride along the dramatic coastline – known for its excellent Northern Lights conditions. If the weather allows, you may see the green lights dance across the untouched Arctic landscape – an unforgettable sight.

Our experienced, English-speaking guides are passionate storytellers of Northern Norwegian nature and culture, and will do their utmost to give you an extraordinary evening. While we can’t guarantee the Northern Lights, we always go the extra mile to find them.

After the tour, you’ll be safely transported back – warm at heart, with memories to last a lifetime.

What an absolute unique experience! Some amazing views in the open air. Went to some amazing spots with clear skies and had a chance to see a little bit of the lights even through the clouds. Memorable experience! They provide everything you need with warm weather clothing, but if you're super sensitive to the cold while driving the ATV I would suggest bringing hand warmers and feet warmers. You will not be disappointed in this experience! Superb company would definitely recommend.

Was a good tour, unfortunately we didnt get to see the northern lights with the naked eye. But still mansged to get photos. Despite the heavy clouds. The ATV's were great. Plenty of photo opportunities. Tour guide was friendly and informative. Overalls, boots, gloves and helmets were provided. Which were well needed on the evening we went.

Went looking for the Northern Lights. Not a sniff but that's the luck of the draw. Went for quite a long drive on a quad bike in the dark and it was good fun. Two brothers run the show and they were good fun.

The ATV experience was great. Our group of 12 were all of a retired age and yet felt safe and all seems to enjoy themselves. The equipment and clothing were all excellent and although we didn't get to see the Northern lights (no fault of the company, they tried very hard but it was 100 percent cloud cover) the ATV experience was still worth it.

The team was very nice and helpful. The trip was great fun. We could see the Northern Lights. The place we went with the ATVs was great for watching the Northern Lights. However, it was quite bright (counterproductive for the Northern Lights) due to the supermoon, so after some time we were offered to take the ATVs for another spin along the coast. It was a great trip!

This excursion was the highlight of our trip! The crew were really nice and very helpful. They took us to an isolated hill top and the lights came. We got some great pictures. The entire experience was so much fun.

Picked up from the cruise terminal and driven to get geared up in fetching boiler suits, boots and gloves - recomend you wear a snood as well (provided) as the wind chill is wicked, quick lesson on how to drive and away you go, following the guide through beautiful scenery and to find a spot, spent ages waiting and no luck so rode further out and waited, just about to give up and we were treated to a wonderful display, there is no rush and plenty of time to take photo's, got us back to the ship in plenty of time before it sailed, would highly recommend, went with a lovely couple. just the 4 of us and the guide.

Oscar was a very knowledgeable guide. We thought the snow meant no chance of seeing the lights, but with patience and Oscar’s knowledge we had a stunning display. We didn’t need our camera to see the lights, though we did take some great photos

Had a really wonderful evening on this trip, it was definitely worth doing! The guide was really friendly and took us to some great spots where we saw some really beautiful northern lights. The atv’s were really fun and had a great time. Would 100% recommend!
