Everest Mountain Flight is the most famous day tour activity available in Kathmandu, Nepal. Moreover, it is in service all year long to fly over the Himalayas. The flight mainly highlights an up close and aerial view of Mt. Everest (8848 m), the highest peak in the world.
The flight usually lasts between 50 minutes up to an hour. The planes take off from TIA, Kathmandu. During the flight, you will catch a glimpse of 20 of the highest peaks to the East of Nepal starting from the Langtang Lirung peak which is the closest peak to Kathmandu, then move towards Mt. Everest in the East and finally fly to Chamlang peak. From there, the plane takes a turn and the passengers get a second look at the view while they make their way back to Kathmandu.

1.00He was put on a bus early on and ordered to stand by. He is put on a plane, but he is dropped off at the airport to get on a different plane. I have to wait in the bus again. When I finally get on the plane, the windows are just dirty. You can't see the view from the window without filtering dirt. There's not much explanation for what Everest I wanted to see. He ended with, "Which is Everest?" And he said, "It's already passed." You look at the mountains and you say, "That's Everest!" It's better not to unless you know that. It's such a waste of a large flight fee.
If the windows of the plane were properly cleaned it would have been perfect

4.00Pickup and drop off at the hotel was punctual and very good. A bit hectic at the airport. Long line at the check in counter with broken computers. 5minutes before boarding I rushed through security and of course they had started boarding already. The flight a long the mountain range is good. Everybody had a Ei die Seat. So 30 min one side will have a good view and on the way back the other side. We had perfect weather. No clouds at all. The only bad thing I have to complain about were the really dirty windows. I looked out if the window and it was like looking through some mist all the time. Not good for photos

5.00Beautiful sights. Flight was good. If you have time do one of the tours to base camp. Easy to get to the plane area.
