  So like previous reviewer I also waited and only after rummaging through my emails and money account on my phone to find out that it was a last minute cancellation by Vendor as they issued a refund to our account with no direct communications except email confirmation of refund from PayPal which came in at 1:54 am on the day of the tour. So lesson learned for the future to double check emails before a tour. I still think it is worth it though to try with this tour but would advise vendor to be better with communications.

  We booked two tours with Jungla Experience. 1) Palenque & Roberto Barrios and 2) Waterfalls at Villaluz and Tapijulapa. They were a "no show" for the Palenque tour. No apology. No explanation. Just a refund notification after we had taken a taxi and waited at the meeting point for an hour. I contacted Viator to see if I could cancel the second tour because I was concerned that they would do the same thing again. Viator declined the request because we were within 24 hours of the tour. So, I texted the tour operator for confirmation for the second tour. They confirmed at 4:20 the afternoon before the tour, but when we woke up the next day, we had received an email from Viator with another cancellation notice. We flew into Villahermosa specifically to go on these tours. We spent hundreds of dollars on airfare, hotel, taxis, food. We went home extremely disappointed and frustrated.

  I had an incredible time 🤩 the jungle team is very professional, friendly and with an excellent vibe. Very attentive at all times and above all, always taking care of the team. Recommended 10/10

  Awesome experience! Though I would recommend to be sure you bring an extra set of clothes. In the cave, you will have up to knee/thigh high water, and you will have a chance to swim at the waterfall. There is also repelling, but you can be accommodated if you do not feel comfortable with that. The visit to Tapijulapa was wonderful as well, with lots of souvenirs to buy and a restaurant to eat at if there is time. Would definately do this again.

  We did the trip in October 2022, and it was honestly the best day we had during our Mexico trip! We did not expect we would visit such a beautiful jungle, do cool activities like abseiling in a crave and through a waterfall. Ramon was a very friendly tour guide and explained a lot about the surroundings. Also he was very patient during the activities and adjusted to our level. The stop in Tapijulapa was very nice too with the best local Mexican food! If you are in Villahermossa and looking for a great day, definitely book this tour!

  We created a private tour with Jungle Experience including Selva la Candona and Sardine of the Blind Sardines /Tapijulapa Magic Town. The excursion of Selva the tired was two days. It included transportation, rafting (Amazing by the way), sleeping in the napame to Maya Lacandones, hiking in the jungle and living to the Black Cork waterfall as well as a river culminating in a cenote, also the visit to the Bonampak Mayan ruins. Only ruins where I have been able to climb the ruins as such and beautiful 1,200 year old murals. Our Mayan guide was full of knowledge of the area. I loved that he had the paintings printed so I could understand the story they tell. The blind sardines cave excursion was a day, also included transportation, hiking, abseiling to enter the cave, tour in the cave, abseiling in the waterfalls of Villa Luz and the visit to the Magic village of Tapijulapa. On our side we can say that we are already planning two more excursions for April than the approximately 17 that Jungla Experience has. We felt super safe with Ramon. It was very punctual, super friendly, respectful and professional. Everyone in the communities knows them and you feel safe with them. Very prepared, educated and trained in all subjects. Your local community guides are in the courtyard of your home. As you know the area and Ramón's integration with them is very exemplary.   The security of the group was a priority at all times. We were a group of co-workers and no doubt they develop skills as a team and the activities caused us to get to know each other differently and allowed us to integrate more. The transfer, visits, guides and logistics.. all very well. 100% recommended.
