  Visiting Palenque and the waterfalls with Jungla Experience was wonderful! We are staying in Villahermosa, and the transportation was punctual, the restaurant suggested for lunch was excellent, and the guide they work with in Palenque was extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them!

  Same as the last few reviews. The company was a no show even though my tour had been confirmed. Called the number when the driver was 10 minutes late, it rang twice and then stopped. Nobody answered and within minutes I had a refund email with no explanation. Hundreds of dollars wasted on a flight and days of travel wasted.

  We arrived at Anytime Fitness at 6:45 for our 7:00 tour to Palenque today. When 7:00 came, no tour guide. We called, texted, and emailed. No response. At 7:33 we received a refund notification but no apology or explanation. We flew into Villahermosa specifically to go to Palenque. Unfortunately, we will be going home without checking this one off our bucket list. Very disappointed.

  Never booking ANYTHING through your company again. Twice I have been cancelled. After I spent money on taxi cabs and ruined my day.

  Service was impeccable, pick-up was on time, we were a great small group of just 5 people, that was perfect. In Palenque, Edgar was waiting for us at the ruins and gave us great stories from the past. We would like to say a big thank you. Right next to them there were a few small stands with local food, which tasted really great as a snack in between!!! We then drove to a different waterfall than the one indicated because the road was closed. Great impressions, great pictures...there was a small café where we made ourselves comfortable after cooling off in the water, and got to know each other better and had a lot to laugh about. 3 hours would have been enough to visit the waterfall, as it was already too late to go to the restaurant indicated in the plan, which was a shame, but we still had a long way back, which was delayed by an accident. As a result, we didn't arrive back in Villahermosa until around 9 p.m. It was a very exhausting, long day for our driver, especially since we were hit by a rock and the windshield of the car broke. But he still took us to a Mexican fast food restaurant and everyone was able to have something to eat, but basically everyone was too tired to do so.   I had a wonderful day with an excellent, informative driver & guide (Ramon). Palenque was interesting and amazing. The waterfalls were gorgeous and so enjoyable to swim in!

  My wife and I were picked up at our hotel in Villahermosa right on time and it was just the two of us, our guide, and one other guest, so it was a nice, small tour group. We first drove to Palenque and were given a very good tour of the site with lots of information. Please note that, to do Palenque properly, you will need to be able to climb multiple buildings that have very narrow stairs. I had wanted to visit Palenque since I was a kid and I was not disappointed. After the Mayan ruins, we were taken to Misol-Ha, which was not on our original itinerary, because rains in the previous days had significantly increased the water level, making it much less suitable for swimming at Roberto Barrios. Misol-Ha was very scenic and we were both glad we went. Lastly, we visited Roberto Barrios, which was also very beautiful. Please note that both waterfalls require some moderate-level hiking. We finished up the day with an excellent meal at Don Muchos before driving back to Villahermosa.

  

  

  

• Weird meeting point that no one knew where it was. Missed the tour after wandering around for over an hourmb

  It's probably a great trip but why chose such a weird meeting point? No one knew where it was and Google maps kept showing me the wrong adress all the time. I missed the tour after walking around in the rain for over an hour. In the end I took a public bus to Palenque. Why not have a meeting place at a main square, church or a big hotel not sportsground on the parking lot next to Anyfitness?

  Ramon my guide picked me up at my hotel and to my happy surprise it was just me and him for the day. He suggested we switch falls for the day to Misol-Ha due recent heavy rains which was a great idea and beautiful stop. But the main attraction Palenque site was amazing. Much less crowded than chichen itza and in many ways more interesting and Ramon was very knowledgeable about the site and it’s history. Had a great lunch at his chosen restaurant and made it back to villahermosa a few hours early which was great bc the listed 13 hour day woulda been way too long. All is all a great itinerary with a great guide. Gracias Ramon!
