Bannerghatta Biological Park
If you're in Bangalore with limited time but eager to see lions, tigers, leopards, elephants, bears, and large antelopes in their natural habitat, Bannerghatta Biological Park is the perfect destination. Located within the Bannerghatta National Park, a sprawling 260 sq. km wildlife sanctuary, it also features a well-maintained zoo and an enchanting butterfly park. With our guided tour, you can experience it all in a relaxed, immersive way. Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink before setting off on a wildlife tour in an air-conditioned vehicle. Our expert naturalist will provide insights into the animals, their behaviors, and the surrounding forest ecosystem. Our driver will stop whenever wildlife is spotted, allowing you to observe animals up close—often right outside your window for a truly personal experience. After the safari, you’ll have time to explore the butterfly park and zoo at your own pace for a couple of hours.

5.00Nice trip, the experience was almost private. We drove quietly through the park and the guide took the time to tell us about the animals we encountered. All native to India. The elephants, the tigers lions, bears and more close by. Wonderful experience that makes a visit to the zoo forget.

5.00We saw Tigers, Lions, Leopards and Elephants up close from our safari vehicle. Also lots of different types of deer and a water buffalo. Made my day! Next we enjoyed a visit to the butterfly house followed by the zoo. We had a good day.

5.00I can't rate this experience highly enough. The safari elephants were worth the price alone, plus the zoo (and more elephants!)..also so many animals on the safari. Tigers, crocodiles, leopard... then a visit to the amazing butterfly world, the zoo (some monkeys roaming free!) and a delicious Indian lunch. Don't miss this one for value, experience and hospitality.

5.00This tour involves a 1-1.5 hour car ride to the Bannerghatta National Park, where one joins a group safari bus tour through the rounds of the National Park. We saw elephants, deer, lions, tigers, bison, bears. I was slightly disappointed to learn that these animals are not truly "wild" - they are managed within very large enclosed spaces within the park - but we did see a wild elephant. The safari tour is narrated in English (pre-recorded), though the non-English speaking guide did point out the animals from the driver's seat. After the group safari bus tour, we are given free time (approx 1.5 hours) to explore the butterfly park and a zoo. The monkeys in the zoo were a lot of fun. There were some free roaming monkeys too. Finally, we are taken back to the base camp and there is a buffet lunch. Nice things: Lots of animals, free time in the zoo which is pretty good. Things to keep in mind: This national park is managed - the animals are in very large enclosures and are not truly free-roaming for the most part.

5.00We had a great time! There were so many animals to see on the safari. We wish the open jeeps were available but the experience was great overall.

5.00This was a fantastic experience. Who knew just 20 km outside of a major city you would be able to see such amazing wild animals. The Bannerghatta National Park does an amazing job at supporting the tour, showing that they are caring for the animals and allowing them to roam freely in a controlled environment as well as supported animal rescue and rehab. However, Hidden Gems Tours was the icing on the cake. From the communication before the tour, the information shared and ride to the park, to the information and photos shared post tour. Praveen has an amazing thing here and I would highly recommend if you have time while in Bangalore. This was my first type of encounter as such outside of American Zoo's and I was enamored. I am now ready for bigger adventures such as the Serengeti. Thank you so much Praveen and Hidden Gems tours! 10/10 Highly Recommend.

5.00Definitely the way to go if you want to visit the zoo and butterfly park. You get to skip the ticket lines for both, and the safari was with a much smaller group. The animals seemed well cared for as well.

5.00Mansour, our driver was very interested in telling us about the park as we travelled there and was extremely helpful. He connected us with the driver at the park smoothly. He also ensured we knew the foods at lunch and as first time visitors to India this was very important.
