We had Sara as our tour guide and she was amazing! We would highly recommend this tour and if possible, Sara as your guide. It was a wonderful few hours spent with Sara at the Castle!

Sarah was a fabulous guide and we learned so much about this castle with her showing us all the key points. It really added to our visit while in town for the Christmas Markets.

Sarah was amazing. Such a rich and detailed history of Germany that you can’t get with the tour offered at the Castle. She put the castle in context and connected the personalities to the building. We loved it! A definite must do for anyone who wants to really learn and understand the history of this magnificent area and castle.

Sarah was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the tour going for the entire two hours! The private element allowed for an intimate experience with a more personal touch to the tour. Would recommend!

Sarah impressed us right from the start with her warm manner and her extensive knowledge of the history of the castle and the region. She told us about the castle's beginnings in the 13th century, the different architectural styles it has undergone over the centuries and the historical figures who have lived there. The stories about the destruction and reconstruction that the castle has undergone were particularly fascinating. We learnt much more about the castle than we could have imagined. We can only highly recommend Sarah and will certainly choose her to accompany us again on another visit to Heidelberg.
