Kids ride FREE! This tour will have you riding through incredible terrain on a variety of our groomed trails, allowing for a comfortable and enjoyable experience for the whole family. Part way through the tour you stop at our renowned Mini-Z track! It is undoubtedly a highlight of the tour, where small kids (less than 100 lbs) have the opportunity to ride solo on Mini Snowmobiles – if you’re looking for that perfect holiday snap…this is it! Our 2 Hour Tour includes a hot drink and a snack at our backcountry cabin. Kids also ride free with one full paying adult!

All guests are required to sign a release of liability wavier prior to tour departure, if you are under 19 a legal parent or guardian must sign on your behalf.
Children are considered between the ages of 5-12
Drivers must be over 19 with a valid drivers license
Kids Under 12 ride free with a Full Paying Adult [one child per adult]
This activity is not recommended to pregnant women, those with heart complaints or other serious medical conditions
Tours cancelled within 24 hours of tour time and "no shows" are liable for the full price of the tour

Our base facility is our main meeting point for all guests. This offers a check in area, where you will get all geared up and use any facilities you need prior and post tour!
Black Tusk stands out prominently with its dramatic, jagged silhouette. The peak is characterized by its dark, almost black, volcanic rock, which contrasts starkly with the surrounding landscape. The top of the peak often appears to be a rugged spire, adding to its impressive and somewhat mysterious appearance.

Adult Driver & Child (5-12yrs): Snowmobiles can carry a maximum of two people. Drivers must have full driver’s license and be 19+yrs. Child must be 5+yrs old
Double Rider (2 People)
Adult Driver & Passenger (13+): Snowmobiles can carry a maximum of two people. Drivers must be 19+yrs and have full driver’s license. Passenger 13+ yrs.
Single Rider (1 Person 19+)
Adult Single Driver (19+): Single Adult Driver's must be 19+yrs with full driver's license. This option is for one single driver with no passenger.

5.00From pick up to drop off this experience was top notch. The family tour with Vince was a memory we will never forget. Vince did the small things like learning our names and making sure we weren’t freezing. He made sure all ages enjoyed the trip! The kids got to drive mini snowmobiles which was a huge plus for them. Vince took us to several beautiful look out locations and offered to take family pictures. I would 100 percent recommend this snowmobiling experience for families! Thanks Vince for giving us this great experience

5.00We did the best family snowmobile tour on Christmas Day. We went with our 10 & 6 year old and they got to ride their own smaller snowmobile halfway through the tour. Neve & Sam were amazing guides and were great with the kids. Highly recommend and will do it again when we come back.

5.00The family snow mobile tour was great. The kids really enjoyed the kids machines and the rest of the tour catered well for all skill levels. Sam N was personable, attentive and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. All in all a great intro to these cool machines!

3.00We were disappointed since they mixed up our reservation to begin with. The kids little snowmobiles part was the highlight of the tour but only one machine out of 4 was actually working.

5.00Blackcomb Snowmobile was fantastic! Our guide Vince (Vinny) was personable, knowledgeable, and made sure we were comfortable the entire time. We took an easy but fun route and he gave us excellent instruction. We had our 2 teen girls with us (they rode on the back of our machines) and he took us to an area with smaller machines so they could drive those — they loved it! We highly recommend this company.

5.00Nine family members, ages 5 to 74 had an amazing 2 hour private tour with energetic, positive guide Kayla. Outstanding scenery, a stop at the z track for the young ones to ride the mini’s, cider and cookies at the geo dome, all on a beautiful bluebird day! As well as wide range in ages, riding experience in our group varied from first timers to well seasoned and Kayla made it comfortable and fun for all. Our 5 year old first time rider said it best when asked how he would rate Guide Kayla on a scale of 1 to 10, “100, 200, 300 and more!” Thank you to all the Blackcomb Snowmobile Crew for a wonderful family day!
