I had an amazing time visiting Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden Palace. The experience was fun, engaging and incredibly memorable, thanks to our tour guide, Vanessa. Vanessa’s English is excellent, and her knowledge of Chinese history and culture is truly impressive. She explained everything with passion and clarity, making the stories behind each place come alive. She was very caring, kept everyone involved and made sure the whole group was enjoying every moment. Her energy, expertise and professionalism turned this tour into a truly immersive and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Excellent Tour with Linda – A Must-Do in Beijing! We had the pleasure of joining Linda’s tour of the Forbidden City, and it was truly the highlight of our trip to Beijing. Linda’s deep knowledge of Chinese history and imperial culture brought the palace to life in a way we could never have experienced on our own. She explained everything in clear, fluent English and was always ready to answer questions. What impressed us most was her passion and storytelling ability—she made historical figures and events feel real and relevant. Linda was also very thoughtful, ensuring everyone could hear and see properly, and she adjusted the route to avoid crowds where possible. I’d happily recommend this tour guide Snow for anyone visiting Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. She was clearly very knowledgeable and explained the history in a clear, well-structured way that made the sites easier to understand and appreciate. Rather than just listing facts, she gave helpful context and showed her passion for the two sites. Snow was friendly and approachable throughout the tour, which made the group feel comfortable without the experience becoming overly chatty or rushed. The pace was sensible, and she was attentive to the group’s needs, making sure everyone could hear and follow along. She also did a good job of organising group photos at key points along the route. She knew suitable spots, was efficient about it, and made sure everyone was included, which we appreciated. Overall, it was a well-run, informative tour led by a professional and personable guide. Linda was great & knowledgeable and she has shared with us some historical stories & making the tour more enjoyable. The only issue we experienced was the map she sent for the meeting point with the picture of a Starbucks which was misleading but it worked out fine in the end. We enjoyed the tour very much. Highly recommend.
