Our Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm tour is created to take care of all the logistical details for you. All you need to do is enjoy! We will pick you up from your hotel in Seoul and drop you off after your tour is over. Our professional guide will ensure your comfort and convenience while answering any questions you may have!

Your tour also includes transportation to each location as well as your Nami Island ferry and Garden of Morning Calm tickets. If you’re feeling adventurous, you’re welcome to take the Nami Island zip line across the Han River and board the ferry only on the way back. You’re guaranteed to get an adrenaline boost if you choose this option! Just be aware that the zip line tickets are purchased separately. Simply talk to your tour guide about it on the day if interested.

We cover lunch as well and will stop by either an Amethyst or Ginseng Center on the way back to Seoul. Make sure to charge your camera, as there will be plenty of beautiful spots to see!

Nami Island

Namiseom (Nami Island) is a curious place. The island is shaped like a half-moon. The formation was triggered by the building of the Cheongpyeong Dam thanks to the North Han River. The name comes from General Nami. He was the hero who helped Korea win against the rebels in the 13th year of King Sejo – the 7th king of the Joseon Dynasty. The natural beauty here was preserved by making sure that there aren’t any telephone polls visible – all electric wires are deep underground.

It’s no secret that people in Korea love a good meal. On our Nami Island and Garden of Morning Calm tour, you will have the chance to eat like a local! We will treat you to Dak Galbi – a spicy dish where chicken is stir-fried in a gochujang-based sauce with cabbage, scallions, perilla leaves, sweet potatoes, and tteok (rice cake).

Eva our tour guide was great, very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Nami and the Garden of Morning Calm is a nice contrast to the modern and busy Seoul. We weren’t able to try the zip line to the island as it opens at 10am.

Ray was our tour guide. Very knowledgeable and you can tell he cares about the history. Great time. Highly recommend this guide. Note that you can’t take photos in the tunnel

Eva was our tour guide for Nami Island. We actually got a private tour with just my family. We started off with Morning Calm Garden which luckily became illuminated during our stay there. She informed us of the place while walking with us and took many pictures for us. Then we headed off to Nami Island, and she did the same for us there with being our personal guide and took many pictures there too. She was very kind and helpful with our daughter throughout the trip. We managed to have a decent amount of free time there as well. Loved the trip.

Outstanding experience. Eva was super nice, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable on the gardens and Nami Island. She was on time to greet us and gave us plenty of time to explore. 5/5 stars. Highly recommended experience.

Booked this at the last minute and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of our trip, especially The Garden of Morning Calm, which was so peaceful and not as crowded as Nami Island.

We really enjoyed this tour! Nami island was still beautiful with some fall foliage and we got there early enough to avoid the larger crowds. Morning Calm Garden was beautiful and we wish we would’ve had a little more time there because of how large it is. Overall, we had a great experience and will utilize them for some other tours!
