5.00Must do tour even if you haven’t watched the movies, Lord of the rings or Hobbiton. Book it. You won’t regret. Doug, our guide was fabulous. Tour was a small group of 14 people. Would do again.

5.00We had a wonderful time visiting these places with Expedigo. We are all huge fans of LOTR and Hobbit trilogies, and it was very disappointing to find that the tickets were sold out months before our visit. Coming all the way from US, We are visiting during the peak season (Christmas break), and Expedigo helped our group of 10 get the tickets for Hobbiton. We can’t thank them enough for this! 🙏🏼 On our way from Auckland to Rotorua, our vehicle had some issues. The nearby mechanic shops were all closed, but the owner of a road-side coffee stall came to our rescue by calling his friend who came to look at the car. He and his friend gave us a ride to the glow worm caves 14 km away, so we wouldn’t miss our reserved slot. Huge shoutout to the friendliness of the kiwi’s!! 😍 Meanwhile, the owner of Expedigo himself came from Auckland to pick us up after the glow worms cave visit, and took us to Hobbiton. Though we arrived a little later than our reserved time, he talked with them and arranged for us to visit Hobbiton on a later slot. After Hobbiton, he took out hungry bunch directly to dinner in Rotorua. His wife sent us the menu and passed our order to the restaurant, ensuring the food was ready by the time we arrived! First class service all the way! 👌🏽

5.00Great day tour from Auckland, we'll organised. We had some spare time to kill so were lucky to make a quick additional stop for a short bush walk. Our guide Chris did a great job. Highly recommended!

5.00Everything was great! The Waitomo glowworm caves and Hobbiton were amazing. Chris was a fantastic guide, super knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting history, culture, and geography facts along the way. The bush walk we did between tours was also a really nice touch :)
