Experience a captivating private tour designed to immerse you in the magic of Bavaria. Your journey begins as your personal guide picks you up from your hotel in Füssen. Just minutes away, we'll arrive in Hohenschwangau village, the gateway to Neuschwanstein Castle. We take a shuttle ride to the iconic Mary’s Bridge (Marienbrücke), where you can capture stunning photos of the castle and its breathtaking surroundings. From there, we’ll take a short scenic walk to Neuschwanstein, often called the "fairytale castle." You'll explore its enchanting interiors and learn about the fascinating life of King Ludwig II, known as the Swan King, and the rich history behind the construction of this architectural wonder. ❇️The castle entry is conducted as a group tour, in line with the castle's policy. After the castle tour, a charming horse-drawn carriage will take us back to Hohenschwangau village. ✳️Please note: During winter months, Marienbrücke may be closed due to snow and safety conditions.

5.00It is a beautiful, well organized tour with a very knowledgeable guide. Mister Stephen Wendell tells the story of the castle in a mix of facts, fiction and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

5.00Caroline was absolutely wonderful! She provided a great deal of history and context so we had a fuller understanding of all the sites that we visited. The four stops were very organized and easily accessed. Both castles were stunning and she provided a much more in-depth background of Ludwig ll than the internal tours of each. The inside of Weiskirche was more than expected and Oberammergau was a charming town to tootle about in. We enjoyed her company and were pleasantly exhausted, entertained, and full of knowledge after our day with Caroline.

5.00We had a great experience with Caroline on our private tour of Neuschwanstein. We got some very juicy stories about King Ludwig his family as we toured the outside of the castle, viewing bridge, and surrounding area. Those details painted a picture for us that made the tour inside the castle. The audio tour was much less exciting in comparison. Caroline navigated us around in a way that made me feel very comfortable - I probably would have gotten lost if I was on my own. It was one of the highlights of our whole trip!
Highly enjoyed the tour with our knowledgeable guide and scenic views.

5.00Thank you Caroline for giving us a great day. We beat the crowds and had Ludwig II’s backstory before the castle tour even started. We learned a lot about the area, had a scenic drive through Austria due to a detour and she helped us enjoy Oberammergau’s ice cream and Christmas shops. We ended our tour in Garmisch-Partenkirchen with a great dinner recommendation and a shorter train trip back to Munich. A great tour with great local knowledge.

5.00Our guide was friendly and helpful. The castle views were spectacular. I highly recommend this tour, but book an early time. We had a perfect view and easy to get around before it became too crowded.
