Experience Arctic Ice Fishing on this scenic 4 hour trip to Lake Inari.
Local experienced guide, unique scenery and Lunch by open fire in warm lappish teepee will make your day memoriable.
You will get warm thermal clothes and shoes in our office in Ivalo. From there we continue to a small village called Koppelo.
Snowmobiles and sledges are waiting for you there, the journey starts to a secret fishing place. You can enjoy unique landscape while you travel in the comfort of a sleigh pulled by a snowmobile.
Experienced guide will give you instructions for Ice Fishing. You will receive your own fishing rod and you can start fishing in a true Lappish style.
You will use either a worm or a maggot to catch the fish.
After fishing we will drive to a small island. We have there two friendly reindeers you can meet and feed.
Lunch and hot drinks will be served in a warm lappish teepee with open fire.
This is a great trip even if you are not so interested in fishing!

5.00Highly recommended. We wanted to take the night tour to see the Northern Lights and had not booked. We wrote on WhatsApp to Tina the same morning and she proposed the fishing activity on the frozen lake because in the evening it would be cloudy and rainy and therefore they would not bring tourists. We left hesitant and instead it was a 'beautiful experience. Organized to perfection. Lapland sleigh ride on the river and frozen lake, fishing after cored ice (with related fish caught and after cooked and eaten), lunch in the family tepee in a friendly and kind environment and lots of joy and fun. The adorable reindeer and the wonderful family Lapland shepherd dog puppy made the experience even more unforgettable. Thank you Tina to you and your family. It was nice to meet you.

5.00This was a really lovely tour - snowmobile sled ride, ice fishing experience, reindeer visit, and delicious lunch. The guides were very friendly and it was nice to borrow extra layer of warm clothes as it was chilly out on the frozen lake. Highly recommend this tour!

5.00Ice fishing was a new experience but very friendly! Accompanied by a great guide, Laura, we dug holes in the ice and managed to catch a fish! The appointment under the tepee afterwards and the reindeer visit was really exotic. I can only recommend!

5.00We had a great experience with Tina, Tappio and Maksim who all took good care of us throughout the tour. Warm clothing was provided at their offices, picks ups and drop offs were seamless, and the ice fishing on the frozen lake and lunch experience in a traditional Finnish tent with reindeer feeding was also fantastic. We will never forget the time on the Arctic Circle, totally calm and unique.

5.00Excellent organization of the safari. We were postponed the initial day of the safari as it was very cold (-31 ) and would not be ideal conditions to enjoy the experience. The next day with more “normal” temperatures we could do it without problems. They provided us with thermal clothing and shoes. Excellent guide

5.00Great experience with Tapio, our guide. He explained how to fish and gave us information about history and geography regarding the wonderful scenario around. We enjoyed a very traditional lunch in a typical teepee, having also the opportunity to see and feed the reindeers in the farm.

5.00Sleigh ride to discover, breathtaking landscapes. A very fun attempt at ice fishing, we didn't do anything wrong but it was a great time all the same. We continued the morning with a typical meal by the fire. To end this safari we were able to feed the reindeer. A magnificent morning discovering Lake Inari. Thank you to this family for this waking dream.

4.00My wife and I decided to go icefishing during our trip and it was a pleasant experience. Tina took us, along with three others, by snowmobile to a scenic part of the lake where we drilled our holes and dropped our lines. We probably fished for around 1.5 hours and the group caught a total of two fish. We then went back to a teepee on Tina’s island where we are a reindeer and potatoes soup and sausage. One person on our tour was vegetarian so they accommodated him with a different type of soup. There were also a couple of reindeer there that we were able to feed. It was a lot of fun and I’m happy we actually caught some fish!
