Our Lysefjord Sightseeing tour will give you a front-row seat to some of Norway’s most stunning scenery. Our experienced and sea-savvy Captains will take you right up close to the most famous sights the Fjord has to offer, sharing stories and tales along the way. You’ll get to see Pulpit Rock, hidden caves, gargantuan waterfalls, and so much more.

Throughout the voyage, you’ll also be on the lookout for the bustling wildlife that inhabits the region. On a good day it will be possible to spot seals, porpoises, sea eagles, and more.

Lysefjord Sightseeing

Sightseeing Tour: We offer an exhilarating, but not extreme, sightseeing tour through most of the major sights in the renowned Lysefjord.
Duration: 2 hours: Our tour lasts a total of two hours. The boarding process lasts 15 minutes and the boat tour itself is 1 hour 45 minutes.

Captain Tore was awesome. Great job explaining historical and local cultures as we left the port of Stavanger heading to Lysefjorden Fiord. We went by many Salmon farms where he explained the Salmon farming process which was quite interesting. He explained all the differing aspects of the Lysefjorden Fiord as we observed wild sheep, Pulpit Rock and the many caves and majestic waterfalls. We could get so close you felt as if you were right in the caves and waterfalls! We were very lucky as the weather mid September was amazing, clear and warm we didn't need to have layers of extra clothing the all weather suit was more than sufficient. Captain Tore made this a very special trip as you can tell he is proud of his Norwegian heritage and the beautiful country and peoples.

This was such a fun trip. It is bumpy which I expected. We had heavy rain on the way back to Stavanger but we were wearing goggles and the waterproof suits they supply. The views in the fjords are simply stunning.

Steeg was a very entertaining guide for our tour! We were the first boat out so the ride was very smooth. If you are worried about motion sickness, would recommend booking early or book later if looking for more adventure. Definitely a highlight of our vacation!
