  We set out on a pretty cloudy evening and I didn't hold out much hope of seeing the lights, to be honest. But Victor and Blandinne were fantastic! They found a patch of clear sky and within half an hour, we were surrounding by beautiful, green, dancing lights. Victor and Blandinne are also fun, friendly, knowledgeable and super-enthusiasic and though they've seen the lights hundreds of time, they really appreciate people's reactions when it's their first time. Highly recommend!

  The coach was comfortable and kept warm and open while we were watching the lights. The guides were knowledgeable of the area and the aurora, photographer was helpful to guests who needed help photographing the lights. Hot drinks were provided, but own snacks are a must. Be prepared for very cold conditions while watching the lights (3+ hours) lots of layers are necessary and good footwear is needed for walking through/on the snow.

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Disappointing Northern Lights Tour – More Focused on Selling Photos Than the Experience

  Unfortunately, this Northern Lights excursion was far below expectations. Instead of guiding the group and making sure everyone could fully enjoy the aurora, the guides seemed far more focused on selling their paid photo packages. There was no effort to prepare a proper viewing area; we were left standing in deep snow, with no cleared space from which to comfortably admire the lights. The so-called “campfire experience” was also very misleading. It was basically a fake campfire set up in a snow mound, and only the first 10 people could sit anywhere near it. The rest of the group—almost 50 people—had to stand around in 50 cm of snow, cold and uncomfortable. For the price paid, I expected a well-organized tour that prioritized guests’ comfort and the actual Northern Lights experience, not an upsell session and poor planning. I wouldn’t recommend this tour.

  Really a great tour! Super Guides (Victor and Alberto)! Friendly, funny, attentive and totally helpful (e.g. when photographing the Northern Lights) We found such fantastic aurora borealis! It's amazing! Definitely recommendable! Thanks for this spectacular and successful trip!

  Yesterday we had a great trip to the Northern Lights and we were not disappointed. Our guides Viktor and Alberto gave extremely interesting information about the Northern Lights and were looking for an optimal place away from light pollution. In addition to professional photos for which they had taken a lot of time, we were surprised with a campfire as well as hot drinks and pastries. I can recommend the provider of this excursion - Northern Lights Safari - to all who are looking for competent guides, very good service and a lot of effort in the execution.

  We weren't so lucky with the weather because it was really cloudy and snowy, but still our guides managed to bring us to a place where we were able to see the lights. Enea and Simone were really fantastic, we really enjoyed the all experience. They also give you snacks, hot drinks and thermic clothes.

  The night we went was super cloudy, I don’t know why we didn’t cancel the exit. We also went, we did 2 hours by bus without ever stopping to Dividalen, there we were stopped 2 hours around a fire without doing or seeing anything. After 2 hours we returned by bus for another 2 hours to Tromsø. Upon arrival, having seen nothing, we were promised the opportunity to do the tour again when we wanted in the following days just by writing an email to the company. The following day we wrote and were told that to get the free tour we had to do a positive review on get your guide. After the review (which is no longer cancelable or editable) we were denied the tour for free for all 4 days after, despite the fact that the app could easily book paying. It is clear that this is a mockery because there is no free tour and a scam because they force people to make positive reviews even when they are not at all. The fact that others have been through the same experience makes me think it is a modus operandi of the company and it is quite serious and depressing. Take the tour with others but not with them, or pray that there are never clouds when you go out with them and do not believe their promises.

  Very disappointing experience – unprofessional behavior ⭐☆☆☆☆ We booked a Northern Lights tour in Tromsø with this company. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, we didn’t get to see the aurora – which is totally understandable. They told us, however, that we could join another tour on a different day for free, which sounded fair. When we emailed them to arrange the new date, they insisted that we first leave a review before they would respond or check availability. This basically forced us to write a positive review we didn’t really want to write, just to get an answer. We did it, and after that… they never replied again. We had already booked another date in advance to go again with them, but they refused to let us join for free as promised. In the end, they just ignored us and found a way to avoid giving what they had offered. Overall, very unprofessional and disappointing service. Do not book with them under any circumstances.
