If you are looking to be in a big group this is not the trip for you seeing as we like to keep our groups small so we can offer a more personal service.
Let us take you on an unforgettable trip to a breathtaking ice cave and tunnels on the edge of Vatnajökull glacier.
Your trip will begin at the glacier lagoon parking lot where you will board our super jeep and then we will drive you on a country road only accessible by super jeeps. When we arrive at the „parking lot“ for the ice cave you will be given all the proper safety equipment and then we will walk over to the caves and tunnels. When we get to the ice cave you can take your time to walk around and enjoy the amazing view, take some wonderful photos and make memories you will never forget.

5.00Yesterday I did an ice cave tour with Boggi, the owner, and it was absolutely fantastic. Even though it was a Plan B tour because the main caves were inaccessible due to the rain, the experience exceeded all expectations. The tour was stunning and very well organized. Boggi explained the history of the glacier in a clear and engaging way, and you can really feel his passion and deep knowledge. He is a great guide and a very kind, professional person. Everything was fantastic and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an unforgettable glacier experience. Thanks Boggi

5.00We booked a 9:00am tour and two of the guests did not show up, so we had a very personal tour with just the driver/owner "Boggi". Boggi was so much fun and very knowlegeable about the glacier as well as Icelandic history. He told us stories of trolls and fairies and may or may not believe that they are still around. As well as showing us where the night trolls stayed out and met the sunrise (night trolls turn to stone in sunlight)!! Boggi likes to get to the cave as early as possible to avoid the crowds and we were able to view the caves by ourselves without having to wait in line. He is also an excellent photographer. Ice Caves in Iceland Tours only take a maximum of six people unlike the larger operators that take 14 people, which is very important because the caves are small and tight and large groups back up quickly. He also had the best "Super Jeep" on the Glacier!! Shane & Melba C

5.00My boyfriend and I did the 9:00-11:30 tour with Vigga and it was amazing. We left the car park at 8:45 and were the first ones in the cave. We had ample time to admire the beauty of the “Atlantis Ice Cave” and take photos at our own pace, unlike the larger tour groups that arrived slightly later. Vigga was an excellent guide! During the drive she shared stories of Icelandic Folklore and traditions which was an absolute highlight. While we were in the cave our safety was her main priority and she was always monitoring our movements, as well as the ice around us. Her super jeep is also pretty awesome! It was such an authentic experience that we wouldn’t have gotten on a generic tour with one of the larger companies. If you’re looking for a memorable tour, I highly recommend Vigga and her family run business.

5.00This was a fantastic day out. The weather was challenging but Poggi was able to turn it to our advantage and we were able to enjoy 2 caves with just our small group. As we were leaving a number of big busloads of tourists arrived and I felt so happy and grateful that I chose Poggi’s tour. Poggi shared lots of useful information and was great company. Highly recommend this tour.

5.00We had Vikka as a guide, who was wonderful and told us all about the local area. Vikka also made sure we were first in the cave which made a huge difference, and was patient in taking photos of everyone. We would suggest getting the later tour as 0900 in December meant the cave was not really "blue" until the end of our tour as the sun came up.

5.00It was great doing the caves in a small group. We had them almost entirely to ourselves, as this small company times his visits to miss the big groups. We learned a lot about the glaciers, and, the best part for us, he talked to the highway folks who had the road closed to let us through so we could get to our hotel just down the road.
It’s an excellent tour.

5.00I joined the morning tour on November 21. The advance communication was thorough, and I felt this was a very trustworthy tour company. On the day of the tour, they kindly decided to depart 30 minutes earlier than originally scheduled so that we wouldn’t enter the ice cave at the same time as the larger groups—otherwise the inside would be crowded and we wouldn’t be able to enjoy it at a relaxed pace. Thanks to that consideration, I was able to fully appreciate the beautiful ice cave. I’m truly grateful to the tour staff. I highly recommend this small-group tour.
