5.00I had only a couple of days to explore Penang, so for a day tour, this was perfect. It was private because I was traveling solo, so I liked the fact that I had a lot of freedom to explore, definitely I wouldn't have been able to see all I saw on my own means. So it was so worth it! I think part of the great experience had to do with my tour guide Joey Tan, he was communicative from the start, confirming pick up time and sending pictures of the car and himself so I could easily identify him, he took me to cool places to shop, which were basically the places I was looking for to go to, so it was perfect, he provided a good level of information about the culture and population and daily life in Penang, he pointed me to the most touristic places, but also to some hidden gems, took me to a great place to eat, was a considerate and responsible driver, and overall a great and pleasant guide. I really enjoyed my day at Penang and I feel so encouraged to come back and explore even more.

5.00Mr. Anthony did a fantastic job touring us around the island of Penang. He took us contra flow of all the tour busses that were heading to the same spots to make sure we did not get too crowded on the tour with the other tours. Mr. Anthony ferried us around in a very nice van, almost a limousine, complete with karaoke and plenty of water to drink. Each stop had a historical story which Mr. Anthony described very well in detail. MR. Anthony is also a semi-pro photographer, so he took all of our pictures for the whole day. What an awesome day!!!

5.00Our guide for this tour was Peggy. She was extremely helpful during the whole trip. She waited for us without any complaints when we were a bit late to reach the pick up point. We planned out the trip in the beginning itself to ensure that we would cover all the main attractions. She explained everything to us very nicely. She took the time and effort to show us the processions and chariots for Thaiposum festival going on that day, she patiently waited for us to have the good experience for Thaiposum. We would highly recommend her. We had a very positive experience with Peggy.

5.00What a fabulous day—by far the best tour of our entire cruise! Ernest was an outstanding driver and tour guide who truly went above and beyond to give us an authentic, memorable experience. He took us to places only locals eat, see, and enjoy, while also making sure we didn’t miss the must-see tourist highlights. One of the best parts of the day was the food—we stopped at three to four different spots, sampling incredible local dishes throughout the tour. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen and perfectly timed. Ernest speaks excellent English, is incredibly knowledgeable, and—most importantly—is just a wonderful, kind, and genuine person. By the end of the day, he felt more like a friend than a guide. If you’re looking for a tour that blends culture, food, local insight, and warm hospitality, Ernest is absolutely the one to book. This was a highlight we’ll remember forever!
