After pickup from Cape Town, guests travel through beautiful countryside to the historic town of Franschhoek. Upon arrival, they board the Franschhoek Wine Tram, a hop-on hop-off journey that combines a charming open tram and tram-bus routes through the valley. Along the way, travelers can hop on and off at selected wine estates to explore at their own pace. At each stop, guests may choose to enjoy wine tastings, cellar tours, estate walks, or lunch at a winery restaurant (tastings and meals are at the guest’s own expense unless stated otherwise). The tram route offers stunning views of vineyards, mountains, and classic Cape Dutch architecture, making the journey itself part of the experience.

5.00Our day with our guide Leon was just fantastic. We were picked up at the hotel on time and already on the way to the first winery Leon told us an incredible amount of exciting things about South Africa – things you won’t find in any guidebook. The first stop was the Spier winery, where we enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting. The property is beautifully located, with a small lake and lots of nature that invites you to walk and linger. Afterwards we continued to the Rust en Vrede winery. There we tasted three excellent red wines and enjoyed an incredibly tender fillet with Pepper Crust – a real culinary highlight. Finally we visited Delaire Graff. Here we were impressively shown why this winery is known not only for its excellent red wines, but also worldwide for its diamonds. Afterwards we went back to the hotel. We thank Leon from the bottom of our hearts for this breathtaking day. If we had already known how great this tour is when planning our trip, we would definitely have booked more tours with Leon!
Our guide picked us up from our accomadation and took us on the route and even took us to extra places for cute photos ,

5.00Really amazing and personal , great to do with family or friends , its private and the guide gives so much attention and care to your needs , i prefer this over the Tram , it was so great Our guide leon was amazing and so patient made sure we got the best of every stop !
