This is a unique experience because Wadi Rum is a one and only desert in our planet earth. You will be able to see the red and white sand desert and also do sandboarding in a red sand dune. You can also hike in one of the beautiful mountains we have in this unique scenario and see the sunset or the sundown while the moon goes to sleep or makes her first appearance at night. You will be able to make camel ride surrounded by this spectacular landscape and also you can feed the camels that live in freedom in the desert from the jeep if they approach to you. The show of colors you can see in Wadi Rum will captivate your eye once you put your feet naked in the sand. And above all, you can make all this with a Bedouin, the original people from Wadi Rum desert since centuries ago.

What are we going to do? During 8h jeep tour in Wadi Rum you will be in the Protected Area of the desert, and you will experience the most relevant and beautiful places of the Valley. You will be able to see camels, drink Bedouin tea and also sandboard in the sand dunes of the Wadi Rum desert, and you will see incredible and unique landscapes, and one of the most beautiful things to do in the desert, you will see the sundown in this one and only scenario. You will visit the Lawrence Spring, the Khazali Canyon, the Little Rock Bridge, Lawrence House, the Mushroom rock, the Burdah Rock Bridge, the Abu Khashaba Canyon, Um Frouth Rock Bridge and we will end the tour watching the sundown. Our starting point is the Wadi Rum Rest House in the Wadi Rum village which is located about 7 km from the Visitor Center. And also we can pick you in the camp. Once we finish the tour we will drop you back to the Visitor Center. You can also agree with us to return to your camp.
Wadi Rum Protected Area
Once we meet in Wadi Rum Village, we will drive to tour first stop, the Nabatean temple. The temple was build around the first century BC.

5.00It was an incredible journey! We spent one night on the desert, and had a full day trip. If we could make a decision again we would spend more time there because this place is magical. 5.00We visited all 'must see' places in a 'tailored' way. Our guide was open to our requests and suggestions. The trip and views were awesome. Contact with Maria fast and concrete. She perfecly addressed our needs:) The experience worth any penny.

5.00We booked a day tour with overnight stay in a Bedouin tent with Fares Wadi Rum. The experience is unique and will remain indelible in our hearts, Maria and Fares entrusted us to Youssef (Fares' brother) who accompanied us into the desert with a jeep, we left the village (reached by Petra by taxi which, if desired can be booked directly by them) at about 9 am and we made several stops with a stop for lunch prepared in a tent by Youssef who took care of us with unique courtesy and affection. The various stops allow you not only to admire unique natural beauty but also to go hiking and sand boarding, at each stop there are tents that offer free tea and sell local products and crafts. I stress for free because for us Westerners to pay even just a glass of water is a given, let's not forget that we are in the desert and water is the most precious asset there can be, offering it is a gesture of hospitality and care. Youssef is an experienced guide, and a great driver, despite having a problem with a knee he found the solution to make me get on and off the pick up with agio. Dopo sunset, which remains a breathtaking natural spectacle, you reach the camp where you can leave your luggage in a tent, use the toilet and dine all together around the fire in the main tent equipped with sofas with cushions and very comfortable seats. We witnessed the extraction of the grilled meat in the sand. We spent the night in our tent, discreet beds and equipped with many blankets to protect ourselves from the cold. The moonless sky gave us the feeling of being floating among the stars in a sea of blue. The next morning a hearty and delicious breakfast said good morning, then we said goodbye to everything and were driven back to the village where another taxi already booked was waiting to take us to Aquaba. We recommend anyone who wants to live an unforgettable day to turn to Fares and Maria, the view and the beauty of nature are there for anyone but the ability to make you feel welcomed and welcome is a rare quality and for that we thank them.

5.00I contacted Maria to arrange the experience of jeep tour in Wadi Rum. She was super helpful explaining all the options and very flexible with our needs. When we arrived a friendly local guide welcomed us on a cool 4x4 taking us to the best spots and explaining us many interesting facts of this wonderful place. Super recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5.00It was a great experience to explore the Wadi Rum and we are happy we've done it with Fares's team. We've made the 2 days tour and overnight. Our tour guide was Rashid, a very nice and funny guy and also a perfect driver. He showed us many different places around the desert and explained us a lot about bedouin culture. In the evening, once we arrived at the camp, we had dinner and we ate traditional bedouin food, it was delicious, the best one we've tried in Jordan. We spent great time eating and talking all together around the fireplace. After dinner we watched the stars for a while and then we slept in a tent for the first time in our life, it was an incredible experience. We recommend this tour because we think it would be hard to find better hospitality than this. Thank you very much for everything!

5.00Thanks to Maria, Sabba and Fares for introducing us to the desert. With the full day tour, we have discovered a wonderful land with wonderful people, we have always felt welcome in every place we visited. Even though it is a desert camp, we haven't felt the lack of facilities.

5.00Unforgettable experience in Fares desert camp. Hosting was very warm, food was awesome. Camp was clean and comfortable. Host made us forget about the outside world and fall into bedouin lifestyle for a short time. Special thanks to Sabah, the best guide and driver in the desert :) Strong desert man and Star ;)
