  We spent 8 wonderful days in Kefalonia and booked Dimitris for a private island tour for myself, my husband, and our two children (13 and 10 years old). The first tour was so fantastic that we immediately booked him again for another day exploring Argostoli! Dimitris is incredibly knowledgeable about Kefalonia’s history, culture, and landmarks. He shared fascinating stories about each place we visited — including St. Gerasimos Monastery, Melissani Lake, Drogarati Cave, St. Theodoros Lighthouse, the War Memorial, Myrtos Beach, Sami Lagoon, and more. His passion for the island really shines through and made every stop meaningful. Dimitris picked us up from our villa in Trapezaki right on time. His car was clean, spacious and comfortable, and he even provided us with cold water throughout the day. Dimitris has a great sense of humor and a warm, friendly personality that made us feel completely at ease. He was also very considerate of our preferences and flexible with the itinerary, ensuring we had plenty of time to enjoy each stop without ever feeling rushed. He went out of his way to make the tours special for our children — showing them how to skip stones at the lagoon in Sami (the exit of the sinkhole!) and even bringing along his kids’ football so our 10-year-old could play on the soft sands of Lassi Beach. We stayed there for hours, and when we were ready to leave, Dimitris picked us up and took us to a great local restaurant for dinner. One of our tours happened to fall on Ohi Day, when many places were closed for the national holiday. Even so, Dimitris found wonderful things for us to see and do — including watching local parades and celebrations — and his recommendations were perfect. He was patient, kind, and even took lovely family photos for us throughout the tours — a thoughtful touch we really appreciated. All in all, our two days with Dimitris were absolutely fantastic — informative, relaxing, and full of memorable moments. If you’re visiting Kefalonia, we can’t recommend him highly enough. He truly made our trip unforgettable!

  Very quick response to our request for a guided tour. Great communication before and during the trip Dimitris' knowledge of the region and it's history and culture was a highlight,tailored made to our interests. Nicely paced. A variety of sightseeing and visits to villages with commentary meant we saw much more than we could have independently. Comfortable and clean vehicle. Safe driver ensured our comfort and convenience. Highly recommend booking a tour with Dimitri.

  

  

• Great way to see the island

  What a great experience! We are traveling on a cruise ship and booked our tour independent of the cruise line. We met our guide easily as we exited the tender from the ship. The weather was lousy- apparently a rare thing for Kefalonia, but he made the day for us. He was flexible and informative and still found things for us to enjoy despite the rain. We visited the capital, the caverns, and ended with a tasty lunch in port before returning to our vessel. Our cruise line offered transport on a giant bus -Dimitri had a nice mini-van . The personal attention was unmatched. highly recommend!

  We are a family of 4, 2 adults, 2 teens. Unfortunately we had very limited time in this paradise on earth, so we choose this trip. It gave us everything we could ask for and more. Dimitris was very accommodating, took us to all the best places and even did a few impromptu photo shoots for us. Highly highly highly recommended!

  We had a fantastic private tour with the charming and knowledgeable Dimitris. We took in the best sights including monastery with fascinating history, amazing caves and beautiful lake. We also visited the pretty villages Fiskardo and Assos. Dimitris was obliging and just a total joy to spend a memorable day with. Would highly recommend this to anyone who, like me, chose not to rent a car but wanted to see this beautiful island.

  My husband and I booked the tour wanting to explore the many attractions of the island in the best way possible. After booking, Dimitris reached out right away to review the details, and our guide, Panos, was there to meet us at our hotel promptly on the day and time we scheduled. The pace of the day was excellent, and thoughtfully organized to minimize any wait times at the attractions. We never felt rushed and were able to take time, explore, and snap photos as we wanted. Also, everything we saw on the trip was breathtaking. The beaches, caves, and the lake. The monastery was beautiful, and the winery was a great stop- we even had a chance to meet the wonderful family running the winery. All of their products, including wine, honey, and olive oil, were delicious and shared with us in true Greek fashion with kindness and happiness! Although everything was fantastic, the real standout for this tour was our guide, Panos. He was truly kind, thoughtful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the island and its history. We learned so much and had such a great time with him! If you are looking to experience all that Kefalonia has to offer in the company of great people, this is for you! Thank you to this group for a sensational tour!

  We had a fantastic full day sightseeing with our guide Dimitris - he was friendly, flexible and incredibly knowledgeable. We were collected from our hotel and visited; a Monastery, a Wine distillery where we sampled wines, oils, honey and sweet delicacies. We visited the beautiful Melissani lake where we had a boat ride on the turquoise waters, the Drogaratic caves, Myrtos beach, villages of Assos and Fiskardo where we had a delicious seafood lunch. Dimitris was able to carefully plan our day so that we could avoid the crowds and enjoy the day. Highly recommend this tour. We were in Kefalonia for our friends Wedding and Dimitris was also able to organise an evening event for our friends along with being incredibly helpful in providing us with transport on the wedding day and for the hen and stag party. Superb service which we would highly recommend to anyone looking to see Kefalonia.
