・Pak Ou Caves is located on the riverbank about 25km from Luang Prabang. The cave is very beautiful and filled with thousands of Buddha images and has long served as a pilgrimage site for all kinds of people, including members of the former royal family.
・Enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at the restaurant overlooking the Mekong river.
・The Kuang Si Falls is a three levelled waterfalls that begin in shallow pools atop a steep hillside and lead to the main fall with a 60 metres (200 ft) drop. This large cascade falls might just be the ultimate highlight of any trip to Laos.

Starting Kayak on the Nam Ou River at 10:00 am from Ban Pak Ou or Ban Hat Kho (depending on the level and physical strength) We enjoy a breathtaking view of the tranquil countryside and see a wonderful nature built limestone cliffs called Pha Aen. Upon arrival at the confluence of two rivers, Pak Ou, we visit the famous Pak Ou Caves. We will explore the Buddha caves with guide about 30 min. We start the second course of the kayak on the Mekong River. We paddle down for 30 minutes until we arrive at Manifa Elephant Camp. We enjoy buffet lunch there. You can take a shower and relax in the garden overlooking the Mekong river. This adventure destination package takes you to Kuang Si Waterfall – you will have time to explore the three layered Kuang Si Waterfall walk the trails of the nature reserve and swim in the refreshing turquoise water pools and visit the bear rescue center. go back to your accommodation at 5:30 pm We limit the size of one group to maintain distance. Maximum one minivan passengers are 8 tourists (and one guide and one driver) Infection prevention will be taken throughout the tour.

5.00We had a great experience. The guide was polite and friendly. He spoke well and guided us throughout. The lunch buffet was fantastic. Everything was made fresh and at live counters with a view of roaming elephants. When had to leave early because of our train and the guide helped us reach timely by arranging taxi with other group, without him we couldn’t have reached on time. Boat ride was spectacular too. We lived every second of our journey and thank the providers. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸

5.00I want to give a timeline of our day since it’s not really listed in detail on the description for this trip on Viator. First, I must say that we booked a private tour since the group tour was unavailable so your experience may be different from mine. This trip was very well organized. Our guide Mr. Pang was accommodating to our needs and gave us enough time at each stop. We first were picked up from our hotel at 9am, drove 30 minutes to the elephant sanctuary for coffee. From there, we drove to the launch point where we kayaked about 2 hours back to the sanctuary on the Nam Ou and Mekong river, stopping by Pak Ou caves on the way. After kayaking, we returned to the elephant sanctuary for buffet lunch and feeding/petting the elephants. Then we drove around 90 minutes to Kuang Si waterfall, where we saw the moon bear sanctuary and explored the area around the waterfall. We returned home around 6pm, exhausted but satisfied with the full packed day. Mr. Pang offered to take us to a village but we were too tired and felt like we had done enough activities for one day. I would fully recommend this trip to anybody who wants to get the best bang for their buck.

5.00Beautiful hike, perfect organization. Pick up at the hotel, the Thin guide very kind and extremely available. Full tour, we start from Hmong village to continue to the falls (beautiful even in the rainy season when they are not bathing) Kuangsi and then lunch (good and hearty buffet) at Manifa Elephant Village with also the opportunity to pet and give food to elephants in freedom. In the afternoon you take the boat and sail along the Mekong to the caves. All beautiful and recommended we are. Really affordable cost

5.00We were lucky to spend a wonderful day in Luang Prabang with Thin, an exceptional guide — incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and always attentive to our needs. The tour was perfectly organized. We started with a visit to the stunning waterfalls (absolutely breathtaking!), followed by a trip to a remote village where we got a real taste of local life. After lunch, we had a touching encounter with elephants in a respectful and natural setting, and we ended the day with a relaxing cruise along the Mekong River to the mystical Pak Ou Caves. We felt truly pampered and completely immersed in the beauty and calm of Laos. Thin made everything extra special with her warmth and professionalism. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an authentic and stress-free experience!

5.00We went during the rainy season, but we got lucky and got a beautiful sunny day. We enjoyed this tour so much, we experienced the beautiful culture and nature of Laos. The tour guides, especially Thin, made this tour extra enjoyable and special. He was incredibly knowledgeable, passionate about the history of Laos, and genuinely dedicated to connecting with each person on the tour. His enthusiasm and storytelling brought the sites to life. It was a truly unforgettable experience, and we feel we saw everything you need to experience and see in Luang Prabang in one day ☺️. I would definitely recommend.
